Wrong place but I have been up for 46 hrs now soooooo… someone sent me a letter with metal balls in vials, a few stickers, a few coupons and what I can only describe as a print in tin foil. Whoever you are, please pm me and tell me what I have - I should know what this is though totally escapes me with everything going on and cannot find any notations that make sense with this letter plus it came in a USPS plastic baggie as it was open and wet so I am thinking there may have been seeds in the vials and someone replaced them along the way? or was it a test run??

Anyhow, I have packaged up 100 seed packs so far and could probably do another 400 so this will be staying open for awhile

Yup! I will wait for any other strains to be sent to me 1st to try to include them though the deadline is the last week of March sooo March 31st is the absolute latest I will mail out to the other distributors…any strains received after this, I will set to the side until the next mass mail out in October. This way mail outs can start the 2nd week of April for everyone

Wow, nice work on the seed run for Purple Badlands!! I’m really hoping I can make the cutoff and get you the Blue Tara seeds in time. It’s looking good but I think it will be close. Where do you get the clamshell containers?
That package you received is just weird and has my detective mind churning. What is written faintly in marker on the tin foil? Are the metal balls hard, heavy, like ball bearings? Looks like one would fit in the middle of that burst pattern in the tin foil.

thank you…took long enough I hope so too - if not then you’ll have to send out to distributors yourself as it takes 12 - 17 days from me to them and I have to be stern about this so we don’t prolong getting seed packs to members again ie “December” box became January then February with a few that haven’t received them yet
Amazon There are cheaper places though for me, this is the cheapest as everyone see’s Alaska and triples the postage so its more than the order itself - I could plan super ahead and probably find them on wish…
Right?! I can usually tell by the postage marks though the envelope was mangled and inside a plastic usps baggie so really hard to tell…this is why, if the item is 1/4" + then put it in a box and go priority so only the weight is considered and its safe from their machines
Burma…on the smaller tinfoil piece looks like seeds though none I am familiar with except for maybe dandelion - if it were sectioned and dried though thats probably not it …just weird
Yup! All the more reason I need to find out what it was supposed to be in the tubes

That is a spore print from a mushroom… And funny enough the person that took it, didn’t remove the stem of the mushroom when they made the print. that’s why there is a gap.

I’ll start collecting postage ~April 6th with mail outs for the US starting ~April 15th with whatever strains are ready…the pool will stay open for 4weeks with final payment of overages to the server fund ~May 15th. Then i’ll do this again

Cool! Now what am I supposed to do with it? I mean, I haven’t talked to anyone about receiving spores so now really confused. I suppose I could try growing it out though haven’t a single clue on how to do it and don’t want to ruin it…been about 15 yrs since last time I had some - I think i’m due to have some again
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I believe this was meant to go in a preservation box to someone so I won’t make any grand plans though now I am curious about learning how to grow it then get a few varieties and try them out. If no one steps up then i’ll probably frame it and hang it on my wall in a shallow shadow box

yeah… that has to be a spore print. if you want to germinate some fungus you put the print on some sterilized media and let it grow!
I have no idea what those steel balls are for though. are they stainless steel? I mean like ball bearings?

Right though they need lots of humidity and certain darkness requirements from my novice understanding… i’ll certainly be looking into it

You only need a fraction of the whole spore print. In that piece of foil there might be more or the same amount of spores as there are human beings on earth… and technically speaking you only need two to start a hyphae and then a mycelium. It’s a bit like strain hunting… that special phenotype…
