Jesus fuckin christ, let the guy get some testers, wtf do any of you care? If you don’t want to participate then don’t, just sayin, he’s clearly a sponsor of the site and thats more than most. I don’t understand or like the attacks on their mission. What if you were asking for something on a forum and someone just attacked you out of nowhere? I feel they just want testers, you get the seeds, you grow it, you get the end result. Idk why it got so aggressive, please inform me if I’m being naive! I for one would love some new genetics, I don’t think I could ever have enough. Be nice or don’t be anything is all

When people come in with very limited information about what they are offering and no background, it’s entirely normal and necessary to ask why here and now. I’m sure some folks will hop on and I don’t think anyone said this dude is outright a bad person, it’s just a far cry from the descriptions that folks who spend years making seeds use. Many folks here try to look out for others and if there’s any possibility of someone taking advantage of others, sharing information, or generally being shady, it’s quick to be checked. Also, in his opening post he is asking for applications of growers. The request was that he submit some application to us. The people he expects to test his stuff that he wants to sell. I’m making no accusations but we do like as much info as can be. I’d expect others to expect it from me if I asked for testers

I get that, just seems like it was a very aggressive attack. There’s a bunch of different ways of going about things, don’t just attack, ask questions and then if you don’t like the answer or how they respond, then you can be a dick I suppose. I just didn’t see a needfor the asshole comments. Just me, I’m a give everyone 1 chance type of guy and I hate people that jump to conclusions and are mean about it before asking the question! I’m a breeder, I sell seeds, I wasn’t offended with the lack of information, I’m sure they’ll provide that later. Idk man, I’m just not cool with the way some/ most people replied so I said something.

As a breeder that had never asked for testers before because I have plenty, I would have done the same. I guess its a learning experience for all. I’m new to the forum thing and I just found nothing wrong with their offer. Each to their own I suppose

When you make seeds, you have a mother and a pollen donor
If you wanted people to test or buy your seeds you would give lots of information about it instead of staying vague
You are being naive because people often cash in on people not knowing enough about how breeding or seed making is done. OP may have given money to sponsor the site, but they did so in exchange of being allowed to advertise to the community without any serious accountability or oversight.
People pay for sponsorships so they can advertise their wares in the hopes of making money. Some people are MUCH more transparent than others.
This is an incredibly low amount of information that has been put up and you’re encouraging it why?
What were the specific parents? Can OP SAY or just dodge questions?
Can he post pictures of the specific parents used?
Or is this just a quick way for someone to get attention to their quickly done work and website?

If I was asking for testers i would offer pictures of the parents and be specific about the genetics involved
Some reputable breeders keep the genetics a secret but that’s because they are established and respected and have plenty of work documented by the community
This dude is not an established or respected breeder, just a random sponsor, asking for a “kush” strain to be tested. Zero pics beyond one random landrace photo.
If you made seeds, you’d want pictures of the plants involved, because you selected the plant and would want to document your work and be transparent and specific about the provenance and heritage
This is just a low effort attempt to grab low hanging fruit

I was curious so I had a look at their instagram. There are some clues there as to the origin of the seeds, but it’s still pretty vague. It seems they are a bulk import, though I could have that wrong 
?
I agree though, any relevant information on origin & lineage you could supply would go a long way to help you find interested parties.

Thats fine and dandy, I didn’t actually see a problem with them asking, if you have a question about genetic lines then why not ask? Why just shit on someone instantly? I could pay for sponsorship as a breeder but I don’t because I’m still working on my lines, I just don’t see the need for people being assholes. I can see why it happened but I kinda expect better from people in the know. I always heard the seed game was cutthroat and I’m starting to see it more and more. Thats just not me and maybe I won’t be successful because of it but its not for the money in my case, I spend way more than I make. I’m just saying why can’t people be nice, just ask questions, explain the reasoning, I accept your apology and I’d say a lack of information doesn’t substantiate people being mean. Idk why they didn’t just ask, they were answering questions but people kept attacking. I’m still naive and I guess I always will be considering I think there’s ways to do things that don’t involve being an asshole. I guess that’s just me.
