I’d like to run them. My climate is very similar to Afghanistan /Pakistan in Southern New Mexico high desert 4K elevation. I got a moto stylus to take pictures jajaja. Seriously I need something that can handle this harsh climate.

@Starsandstripesseed your company is a collab with breeder Steve correct? I thought the name looked familiar so I checked his IG. Is this stock you’re offering the same stock he posted about?

Just checked your site why does 2 different strains from different breeders have the same image? Things like that make me a little uneasy

We are a new platform for small, independent breeders to showcase their genetics.
We sell and ship genetics from a variety of breeders, who are free to name their cultivars as they please.

I’m a relatively new member, but I spent 30+ years as a marketing and PR executive in the tech industry. In fact, I’m an old guy who pioneered the original use of social media as a marketing opportunity when social media was MySpace and Friendster, 20+ years ago (yes, I know. I apologize.).
Yeah, you blundered into this site, but all is not lost for you. I hope you can square it away with these people, because “these people” are some of the best and most helpful people I’ve met.
It helps to spend a LOT of time getting familiar with the sites, magazines and audiences you want to connect with. What works on OG won’t work on ILGM or anywhere else.
The same was true of reaching out via phone to mainstream media – I didn’t always have the same “pitch.” It was the same GENERAL idea, yes (marketing) – but the EXECUTION was highly, highly deliberate and VERY obviously adapted for that specific audience.
I understand that, as a biz, you may not have the resources for that. Try. This what I do for a living. You may end up with FEWER “partner” communities – but they will be your allies and evangelists if you treat them right, honestly, and transparently.
I left tech so I could get into marketing something more useful for the world. I am/was REALLY good at my job and was VERY well known in that space. That’s why I’m writing this.

(Btw – and yes, this is sort of a plug for me – I’ve started a cannabis marketing agency designed to help companies do exactly and precisely what you’re doing. I’m not just saying shit.)

Thanks Orbitalnutria. We sell genetics from different breeders on our website. We ask the breeders to provide us with a few samples for our testers. Testers then provide us with pictures of their journeys, which we use to share their experiences with other growers and promote the cultivars of the breeders working with us.
“I feel they just want testers, you get the seeds, you grow it, you get the end result.”
Yes, Sir. That is all we want.

Or just sound like a cool person – not a company. People bond with people. Companies are entities – until the marketer makes it warmer and fuzzier, and you only do that with brutal truth.

About the Kush seeds that will be send to testers. They are a mix of cultivars sourced from local farms, used by locals for hash production. The current batches are from Makur, Zazi, Andrab in Afghanistan and also Tirah Valley, Pakistan.

Well 77 posts in, I’d start by maybe answering some questions folks have asked. I asked in post 2 about some stuff. Like your background. How you got started. Goals. Length of time. Incentive for testers since you’re going to use the pictures to sell. More pictures, information, flowering time. Who are your other testers. Maybe start there? Is this your first stop? You’re not very tactful with your communication.

Try to be patient, Leet. These people are selling, but they don’t know marketing, and that’s hurting their credibility. Also, they didn’t do their homework on OG before coming.
They have an interesting story and vision here. Yes, they should be approaching this more as a “cooperative grow” effort, and have an offer that goes beyond merely “free seeds.”
OG is a unique, highly apt community of “professional” growers and breeders. Let’s let them tell their story maybe.
