I think time is the key here for me. It’s pretty apparent most of the time who’s trustworthy and who’s questionable. Not always, but most of the time.
Unless you are truly trying to scam someone, I’ll never understand why someone would risk their reputation over a pack of seeds.
i’ve been cheated out of plenty of seeds but that was because i was giving away testers. maybe 1 or 2 outside of it. i was cheated out of seeds from one member that would be considered “untouchable” but i can’t do anything about that without looking bad. nothing to say but “it happens”.
We called him out. I called him out. We were told to give it time for him to wake up and fly right. We did. He didn’t.
Why is that so “crazy”? Heck, lots of us have Auto/Fems…hint/hint!! Give me a few days to post a List, probably have “25ish”. SS/BW,mister

And that is a great point @misterbee . I would never intentionally burn someone on here but my memory is truly shit. I think 15 years of heavy pain pills did a number on me that may never change. I keep a hard journal that I put trades, gifts, promises to run this or that… but I might forget to enter something. If I do forget, then it never happened. lol
If ever I forget something, though, I would hope that I would get at least one reminder. Old folks need reminders sometimes.

Well, so far MAYBE one bad experience for me….after I check the mail today and if there is no envelope I will call it a done deal. Out of bit of $ and that will wrap it up for me donating funds for seed increases.
After several correspondences of ooops, I thought I sent them out but didn’t, yada yada yada I’ll just consider it a lesson.

I was one of the ones that did speak up. I called him out a number of times in his thread. Some listened some didn’t. I had actually messaged several people that I knew he traded with and asked them of their experience with him. I soon found out I was far from alone and let others know it.
Didn’t seem to matter as nothing was done to him even though it was obvious he was ripping folks off.
That made me chuckle
One could then use the canned response of
“You don’t know how to grow” used by many breeders that don’t test their gear.
I write it down also, mostly so I don’t forget to send.
I’v had a few packs of testers offered to me in trades recently, immediately knew I didn’t want to complete a deal.
It’s just terrible to hear about folks getting stiffed here on OG. I can’t believe the generosity and kindness of so many members here. 
What a frickin dirt bag anyone is that doesn’t honor their end of a trade, especially with any long term members that are awesome to everyone on here no questions asked. Just sad. I’ve received so many seeds here from some really great people (and traded too) I just hate that there always has to be those piles of dogshit that screw over good people. Sorry to hear about those bad experiences
