Reiko is correct, Lambsbreath, but the ‘th’ sounds like ‘d’ with Jamaican dialect.
When Bob Marley went to Jamaica, it was called Lambsbread.
The idea being, its the spirit of god, inspire/respire - to breathe the holy spirit.
So in Aramaic, the word ‘spririt’ actually translates better to ‘breath’ than it does to ‘spirit’. Meaning that it is our breath that connects all of us, all beings, even the planet breathes (check out the movie Aluna, about the Kogui shamans of Colombia).
To smoke Lambsbread brings you back to your highest self.
It likely originates from western south africa, like Angola.
When Bob Marley and the Wailers went to Jamaica, the elders gave Peter Tosh seeds. These are the 1960’s Jamaican that Vives Collective kept pure for decades.
My interest is through an experience I had with Jamaican around 2005.
My cousin had a moving company in the NYC tri-state area and she hired Jamaicans and treated them real well. As a wedding gift, they smuggled a fucking-large joint from Jamaica. Knowing how much I love weed, my cousin gave it to me and I smoked it with my other cousin in her car. We were giggling and cracking jokes for hours. It was the first time I ever achieved being my highest self. Only LSD and ketamine have reproduced those effects, but they have heavier side effects than smoking weed.
Perhaps Steve Lamb is a pseudonym and he names himself that in the industry after the weed. Or maybe its a coincidence.
As far as surfer smugglers, BOEL were far from the only ones. But they were the biggest, since they had military backing. They orchestrated operations in many countries - Mexico, Colombia, Afghanistan, Iran, S. Africa, SE Asia…
In Afghanistan, they made hash oil factories that produced gallons of hash oil to be smuggled world wide.
Their Hawaiian breeding started with Swazi, Thai, Jamaican, Oaxacan, Afghan(sativa).
