Seeds to Weeds : Live & Learn Organic Edition👨🏼‍🌾📝

Once you are familiar with the way a plant looks when it needs something, you’ll be able to assess with a glance. I think they call that “green thumb”.

Hope the ‘rona has subsided — that stuff was nasty when I caught it recently.

Curious about the pollen and breeding (and enjoying your grow!). Thanks for sharing :).

Thank you sir. Feel free to stick around and enjoy the show :seedling:

As for the rona, it hasnt been that bad (knocks on wood) i just have a slight cough and a very runny/stuffy nose. Yesterday the runny nose ended and now the cough is starting to taper off and i should be 100% by this weekend im hoping. My lady is past it also thank god lol.

Small Plants were transplated 4 days ago and watered in at 2 cups

Watered in 2 cups each just now. Noticed the droop yesterday. Gonna give them a good dry back and hope they perk back up. They were picture perfect 2 days ago, now getting a bit sad on me. Well get them back on track! Dont worry!

After 2 cups this morning and some time to wake up they came back to life.

Guys i want to come up with a new profile pic. Some sort of graphic design with the idea of “seed to weed” in mind.

Im not very creative but i was thinking maybe something with the human evolution theme where its the monkey turning into a cave man then into a modern man but a seed turning into a seedling then a budded plant.

I really like logos like nachos and el sapos where there is a lot of detail crammed into one tiny image and it tells a story.

I absolutely love this logo, in fact I bootlegged quite a few stickers since i thought it was such a cool design. Love everything about it, i wish i knew who created that. Even the frog has a nice happy grin.

I am totally in love with the kitchen stink by @Crafty_Flame

Need to take clones for sure these have been perfect in veg and and have a stinky smell

Flower tent yesterday day 14F
Finally seeing some buds form

I wish i took wolf cap clones but i decided its best to keep things moving around here. With so many packs to explore, cloning really holds things up due to limited veg space

Clone it now :clap:t2: Clone it now :clap:t2: hah really though they look great. Love when fat leaves pray like that kitchen sink. Tons of budsites on the wolf cap. I think you’re in for something good with that one. Also if you Google sift screens you’ll find plenty of them. Saw you asking budderton on about it earlier. They make sets of 4(or more) or individual. Super handy for cleaning up dirty hash/dry sift but he’s honestly the first person I’ve seen use them to filter pollen. Makes total sense.

I need to correct myself before we go any further.
This are kitchen stink by @Crafty_Flame

He tried to tell me sooner but my stoned ass didnt pick up on it.

kitchen stink is (kitchen sink x garlic breath 2.0)

Hell yea they are getting cloned. These are all i got and i feel like that one on the right is really something special.

As for the sift screens i think i might just build one with 70micron mesh and a large picture frame.
Im still trying to figure out the best way for pollen collection. @Budderton has a nice method but i am segregating my males so no need to bag. I just need to find out how to collect some what efficiently.

Hehe what’s in a name. The garlic breath should be a cool addition anyway. Should probably be that gas you like :metal:t2:

Yeah it’s definitely a weird one. I like to snip branches right before/while the sacs are opening. I’ll put a few branches in a cup of water over parchment and over the next few days, you can tap the branch and pollen drops on the parchment. Can do a few branches for 4-5 days then a few more. You’ll figure it out though! It’s fairly easy once they’re over there going crazy with it

My little setup for my little male

Yo @seeds2weeds I finally got caught up on your log here. Excellent stuff you got going :+1:

Agreed with @DirtySlowToes on that kitchen stink clone  it  now! Esp if it’s stinky in veg

Loving the profile pic idea :seedling: :herb: that “evolution of man/weed” is perfect dude

Hope you & your fam are all better after the recent COVID. I’m unfortunately dealing with that myself right now - somehow this is the first time I’ve caught it and this crap s u c k s

:musical_score: Hey you, don’t touch the mic like it’s AIDS on it :microphone:

That is the perfect for me! So once one sac opens i guess is a pretty good time to cut the branch off?

They’ll open over a few days while in the water cup so they don’t need to be open at the time of snip but you can do it once you’ve seen a few open to be safe or you can do it right before any do.

Welcome aboard! Glad to have some new visitors around here! I noticed you going thru the thread with likes lol i bet you seen the difference between now and last year pretty good huh?

Thanks for the compliments on the profile pic. Some day ill find a graphic designer or the guy who made nachos logo. That would be sick.

Hope you kick covids ass bro i got off pretty easy just a nasty cough and runny nose

Fed the kitchen stinks this morning with a 1.1ec (3gal water, 10ml cal mag, 21ml fishmix) 5.8 ph feed, 10-12 cups per 3 gal pot.

I noticed some pale fan leaves on the plant that was showing the black specs last week. I plucked those specked leaves but and everything was nice and green until now.
Edit: looking back there was signs of pale fan leaves 9 days ago. Issue is progressing. Slurry test inbound. I hope i didnt over do the 4-4-4.
Also wouldnt it have to be an immobile deficiency due to the top showing the signs?

Also i watered the 2x2 yesterday and im seeing some discoloration in there now too, The Legion sour ogee males are most of these pics.

Overall tho the 2x2 is looking good and they are taking off

Heres our legion sour ogee female. Looking a little droopy but overall is in good health and very vigorous compared to the males

Flower tent looking happy

Yo @JoeCrowe going off those kitchen stink pics would you double down on there being a micro nute deficient. Looks like its an immobile thing since its only on the top mainly

hmmm I’m not too certain but it looks like it could be magnesium?
