Seychelles Seed Run --- Any thoughts welcome

Oceanic vibes, that is a good idea! I do have a pack, thanks to you…I can’t really hunt for one, but I bet I can get a girl in that tent. Let me see what I can do :green_heart:

Thank you much for the advice, sounds like just water and make adjustments as needed. I appreciate the help @US3RNAM3, cheers.

I would really love and appreciate the effort but also you know do what’s best for the run! These are rare and I’d hate to compromise something for the community

Sorry, everyone I’m just seeing many questions. I feel like an old rag anyway now lol. All of you answering questions so well now im not needed. Warms my . Overgrow has become very special in the Landrace world. I love it!

Just make sure you keep an eye for hermie flowers on that gal. Nothing will ruin a preservation quicker.
Seychelles sounds really interesting. Probably some old Indian strain is preserved there. Can’t wait To see what you come up with!
Best feed for Sativas is chicken shit pellets. I add fishbone meal for flowering

Yea fish bone meal is awesome for flower. Not to be confused with Fish meal, which has a lot more nitrogen, but fish bone meal has almost only P in it

Yeah, it makes huge sativa flowers. I go easy with it, generally using it in small spikes, layers or just under the surface piles.

I would love too , but this may be a thing better for the freaks ? @DougDawson , thoughts? @Guitarzan ?

Yes, agree that you should talk to a freaker.
It was only moved here as it isn’t a active co-op thread and they wanted to ask and we can do that here.

I know zero about that strain but you should be in good hands asking @Guitarzan and the Freakers. :v:

I think this topic got moved around a little late - @BasementGardens is already in possession and gonna run them. Basement Gardens grow room - #543 by BasementGardens

Yeah, they are currently germinating :muscle:

I will certainly keep folks posted on the effort, I am just planning on making seeds. I have already had a few folks offer some good tips.

Hey @sodapop!

@setgoals I have 4 heads above soil thus far, it looks like we lost our original Seychelles topic, and this isn’t the place for updates, so I will put updates in my grow log. Cheers!

It got moved as it was in the co-op catagory as a individual run.
Let me know if you want any post moved to your thread.

This is something me and @LoveofLandrace have spoke about the coolies went as far south as pondoland to work the sugar cane fields in the 1600s so i expect Indian influence all down throught there :grin: it coukd really be all Indian like an old kerala circa 1600s :face_with_monocle::exploding_head::face_holding_back_tears:

Its pretty close to the equator too  ps and its actually a little cluster of islands pretty cool

@BasementGardens dude I’m incredibly stoked. 5/11 is a bit low, but hey, it could be worse. Still seems like reasonable odds of some danky panky haha :crossed_fingers:

Could always aim for the BX if not. That said, feel free to attempt whatever methods seem best…since they’re already in the process might as well eh?

Hey @drgreensleeves appreciate the insight! Some super old school would be amazing, especially from a well-developed cannabis culture like that

I like those map snapshots btw, really puts this in perspective for those peeping

“Danky Panky” lol, that is a new one.

Yeah, a few look weird but I think 3 or 4 of them look like they should pop. They still have some time, and like you said, 5 would get us there. Thanks again, to everyone, for the information.

Any advice for starting flower timing? In terms of it being a longer flower, would I start them younger?
