Someone traded me his gear a while ago. Well it all was semi autos. Not true autos. Had 15 plants wacked. No harvest. Because well his autos need a flip schedule instead of 24 hour autos. True autoflower plants. Bogus bs if you ask me. That’s like basically not putting in the work to get it to full auto. I seriously don’t see anything good about these genes and have subsequently fed all his seed in my possession to the birds and squirrels

Hes pretty clear on his autos doing best on 18 / 6 light schedule .

I’m sure he is, someone traded them to me and said they were autos. So that’s where it happened, mark didn’t tell me they were semi automatic. Not true autos… so that is where the problem was.

I can see and understand that situation for sure .

It sucked bad. I had been running them for a while, and thought ehh, but near the end it was larf. Think I may have washed the larf, but it was barely anything. I was to assume they were autos I could run like every other one that I have ran before. Messed up one harvest. Not to bad. Just put a severe hate on the semi auto plants for me. Didn’t mean to sound rude btw. I believe they were green headband…

I can see why and how it would be very frustrating and cause a dislike if you weren’t informed in advance .

Don’t know anything about Mark’s gear but semi-auto, in my book, means plants that’ll start flowering very soon after day length shortens past june 21. For us at higher latitudes this means we can grow bigger plants, as compared to full auto plants, and still harvest them in september before rain/cold, lack of sun.

If you’re a new home hobby grower, I would recommend mark.

His work is unrefined, raw but has decent potential to play with. I found some cool plants in the Blueberry work. Also found some intersex issues.

I remember Corey used to share Marks gear all over OG until his meltdown. I think @DougDawson has Corey’s email if anyone wanted to poke him for images.

I think I have some of Marks “Fast Blueberry” but never grew it out yet.

Yeah, basically, Mark has zero provenance on any of his stuff. He has beans labeled after clone-only’s.

His ‘fast’ lines are auto x photo crosses. His auto’s don’t seem to actually be auto’s…

The whole thing is questionable af

Yeah I agree. I don’t think his gear is worth growing, I steer clear from his beans. I mean beans labeled after clone only? gzz. Sounds like some shifty breeding and bad genetics. :-1:

Lol…don’t buy his OG Cake, trust me. As it turns out he spent his youth living in Winnipeg…we spoke a few times about his time here. Was kind of funny.

This was basically what happened. Once I learned of this I didn’t find use with his gear for my growing situation.

Not sure a new hobby home grower needs plants with intersex issues. Bad starting point.
