No worries at all got to try and find someways of giving back to the OG community. While also trying to keep it to stuff not already In the works.

@TheShowMeHomie , I guess I was not clear, yes it (bottleneck) occurs when your family tree doesn’t have any branches.lol some times you start seeing deformed plants, hermied, general lack of vigor and need an infusion of another bloodline to revive then you breed back to the original to return to your type.
Vermontmans highland oaxacan did that and he bred out to a Hawaiian plant and then went back t Mexican bloodlines to find his original phenotype

My friends World of seeds Columbian was one line of Columbia gold, my underground seeds CG72 was another, so we combined them and held some ace Panama as an outcross if anything weird happened. He’s in gen5 now of straight Columbian gold lines in South Oklahoma outdoor grows.

Okay I think I’m starting to wrap my head around it now!

Yes it’s not something you want…it’s also called inbreeding depression, the bottle neck is more of a layman term. I have no experience with it in plants but it’s fairly well known. I used to line breed dogs back in the day then discovered my dogs were having issues long after they left me. Not cool.

Yeah prolly not the correct term to use still learned a new term and what not to do when get to playing with this plant. Lol

I remember Madahoochi (a jam band from STL that was fairly popular until they broke up) hosting shows at Skatium, and the crazy shit that went on (mostly outside in the lot, not inside).

Not sure if I’ll be able to make it, but it’s on my radar!

I figured this was worth posting here. I have no affiliation…

Orscheln’s (a Missouri company, based out of Moberly) is having a One Day Only sale tomorrow (Friday, 4/2) with discounts on many items, including some pertinent to our hobby. I just received their flyer in the mail today. 2.0 cu ft bags of Fox Farms soil for $15 stood out. If only I hadn’t stocked up (@ $20 each) a couple weeks ago!

They had pallets full outside the one I visited. They have all their spring gardening stuff in the same area: big bags/bales of peat, compost, topsoil, etc.

They for sure had Happy Frog and Ocean Forest.

This is why we grow folks imagine paying 16 dollars for half gram bowls of trim
