Not sure if you’ve tried it… But Los Tules in KC across from the Koffman. LOVE the food there.

Tractor supply bought them out. They did do a weekend sale on ocean forest at 10$ a bag here back in Feb. Bet your ass I stocked up. They’ll burn down the inventory eventually.

I had so much good bbq when I lived in STL. Pappy’s, Bogart’s, Sugarfire, Salt & Smoke… I never made it to the Shaved Duck but always wanted to try theirs.
I had bbq from a food truck at lunch today. Tried the brisket and turkey. Turkey is my go-to when trying a new place. If they can pull that off with enough flavor and moisture it’s a good bet they can do a good job with the rest.

I attended a music festival near St. Clair, MO (Franklin County) recently. They also had a big hemp expo as part of it with a ton of CBD and Delta 8 products. I sampled Delta 8 THC for the first time - in popsicle form! - and really enjoyed it. The local dispensary had a table with empty containers as an enticement to visit their store in town. That was near my hotel and they offered some sweet discounts (10% off for new customers, free pre-roll, 1/2 price edibles, 25% off concentrates) so I checked it out.
I picked up several varieties of flower from Proper. They were all decent, but the Tiger’s Milk (bred by Bodhi Seeds: Bubba Kush x Appalachia, tested at 30% THC) was exceptionally good. I also grabbed two “sugars” from Vivid: Black Garlic @ 82% and Purple Diesel (surprisingly light and citrusy!) @ 87%. I was very impressed with both of those.
Of course it was waaaaaaaay overpriced, but I was on vacation and had a little cash to splurge. I was also tempted because Proper offers Ecto Cooler (Gorilla Biscuit x Cali-O). I have a pack of those seeds but had never sampled it before.

I love Black Garlic strain. Its nice to have a weed store to try different strains. But yeah it is too pricey. Proper does have some fire. The Hochata flower is insane. It was at 37% THC.
