Cool man I love snakes and have a rat snake hanging around our property for the past 5 years but nothing like those big guys. Weenie dog enjoying high ground
I love carpets!!! I had a female pastel highway ball python but got rid of her. I plan on getting a true red tail boa soon but have been looking at the carpet pythons.
I’ve been struggling something fierce lately after the horrific accident that took my beautiful little girl from me at only 4.5 years old. It has been Thyra and I against the world, I do have much family interaction in my life, and she was definitely my reason to wake up in the mornings. She is the sole reason I was able to make it through a very sick period in my life. Loosing her nothing is the same, we did just about everything together. She was the perfect companion, loosing her has hurt more so than anyone else I’ve lost in this lifetime. Even growing hasn’t been the same. Idk why I decided to post this maybe it helps just getting it out. Idk she was the mortar to my foundation. I miss her something fierce.
Godspeed @Misguided_USMC
Here’s the lil chit my wife took in from a barn up north we delivered eggs and firewood to. She came bearing gifts! her first born is truly her mini me.

When you feel better and your spirit and morale will allow…I encourage you to fill that space with another canine sitting in a kennel somewhere that DEF NEEEDS humans like you! Isnt it funny we can see things that turn others into “net shakers” yet when we lose those closest to us it destroys our “spiritual fabric” more then any other pain we face. Here
Anything you need that i can help you with to ease this for you im here! This stuffs no joke i totally understand believe me. After losing my last mastif the current one just hit 11…Watching them decline is painful as well for me. Thankyou for sharing your loss…it does help!
@Headies12green this is 113% accurate!
My heart to yours @Misguided_USMC .

I am so sorry for your loss…they are more than pets, or even companions…they are our children, our true soulmates…and they take a piece of our hearts and souls when they go…
huggz!!!
Have you deep sniffed her yet during/after her sleeping @Headies12green
It gets addictive if she “cornchips” as much as our Celia.
When she’s super bed piggy potato under the covers it suddenly is all cornchips in the room when she decides shes overheating and crawls out to flumps hard on the covers she was just laying under.

Thought i would ask. Anyone here have experience with caimans? I have the opportunity to get a 2’ juvenile but want to make sure I know what im getting. I have tons of experience with reptiles just not crocs.
Depends on the species-- the dwarf Caimans get about 5-feet long… Black Caimans get up to 15 feet!
They grow about a foot a year, and can be very aggressive!
Just like pretty much any crocodile/alligator…IMO-- read up on their care and feeding before you decide…they need really big enclosures with big enough bodies of water to swim in.
