Each SIP started with 2 of the same seedlings. Lost a Jews Gold to caterpillar damage and an Iraqi Banger was pulled due to lack of pistils. There were no male parts showing but didn’t wanna risk it cuz I was only there every 2 weeks.
Og looks like the smallest yielder. All SIP plants 6ft and up. A heavier preflower top dress woulda helped every SIP. Been using Neptunes Harvest rose and flower as a booster last 4 weeks. Gonna water in epsom salt as a finisher not sure how much per gallon. 1-2 Tbls? Saw the lil dots associated with spider mites on the BBWs. Hit with old smelly LABS (small mushroom in jar).
This taught me that daily obsession plant per plant aint necessary, BAS 3.0 nutrient kit is the bees knees in 3x3, homemade EWC is pure power. Mostly that my input can be once every 2 weeks except in early flower when looking 4 boy parts and caterpillars. Full Sun makes a HUGE difference. BT strong earlier probably woulda kept that JG in the mix. She was chunky. A Frankenstein looks like it’ll be pulled first 2-4 weeks. 3x3 bed looks like the it’ll be the last harvested. Maybe the large volume of soil? Fun season learning and watching.
They’re from Humboldt Seed Co. I got em in a trade iirc. Germination and growth has been normal so far. Maybe if I spent more time ida noticed something. SIPPIN with living soil they were treated like every other SIP. They’re frosty but the flower size is not what I expected. Maybe the finished buds will be good.
Edit: Least exciting seedlings. Shoulda ran a Haze, Viet Black or Durban instead.
That’s cool. I saw another thread from a hsc triploid that was causing so many issues. Out of 3, 2 immediately died and the 3rd had some weird leaf mutation.
Maybe they fixed their line a bit or maybe it’s just luck of the draw
You’re plants look great. Agreed on the buds, bummer they are sorta wispy. Maybe it will stack up
The flowers look dense just few and far between. Frankenstein and Jews Gold flowers are the only ones with the possibility of wispiness or airy or light. Whatever the opposite of dense is. Knocking on weedwood.
Ran out of this 2 weeks ago. Suggested by dude at the shop 3-4 years ago. Phenomenal product. If growing with biology add this midway through flower and watch the trichs grow exponentially.
Its going down. Ras called the Thursday talking bout rot. I was there Friday and encouraged the chopping of 1 Frankenstein. Just left and offered the Jews Gold be chopped tonight. The other Frankenstein will probably be next. All earlier than the harvest window imo.
Watered in epsom and lightly sprayed BT last Sunday. Dumb da dumb dumb dumb. Also sprayed the BBWs with LABS in an attempt to deal with spider mites. Dunno how much rot is directly attributed to my actions. Saw a web on a BBW today. Gonna spray with dish soap tomorrow.
