Site down over the last couple of days?

Over the past several days, at least since Christmas night I do not believe I have been able to log in to the OG site. would there be a reason for this, it kept saying site maintenance or updating in progress check back later. today is the first day I have been able to log in since, but I see that the site has been up and functioning apparently. I am not sure what gives, has anyone else had this issue or anything similar?

14 posts were split to a new topic: Glitchy post scrolling

I haven’t seen anything like that over the holidays… I did notice the ‘hit or miss’ jump to the last read post has changed to 100% hit, so something has been updated.

Cheers

No issues on our side that I’m aware of. Are you using Tor to access OG?

I’m trying to do at least monthly updates to the core platform so that we have the latest patches. The last one was the day before Christmas. Unfortunately, the scrolling is still glitchy.

I access OG thru firefox browser as my home page when I start up. until today, I have not been able to access the site. I could go to other sites fine as far as I could tell, who knows, at least I can make contact now.

Whats up Mike?
Man…I feel u all w/ this issue that sucks

Let me ask you
Did u try another network and/or other device?

I have reset my desktop, my one and only way of connecting, a couple of times since Christmas Day, but not since this last friday. I could not connect to OG sunday but today I did. I do not understand what happened, I am just checking to see if it happened to anyone else, since apparently the site was up, and I just was locked out by some glitch.

I had it two weeks ago on one Windows 10. It was the Bluetooth drivers for me (that i never use, in bonus).
It was not only OG, but a bunch of websites and some file’s explorers.

maybe it has something to do with the Windows 10, that is what I run.

hey, all y’all! (ever seen that before? :slightly_smiling_face:)

why would my firewall be preventing me from being able to log-in to the site? when my firewall is on I can not see the site on any browser, when I turn it off I can see the site and I am able to log-in! what would cause that? I just turned it on then lost connection again, I have only noticed it on this site. I don’t do a lot of web browsing. It has taken me a while to figure this out, in other words, a few bowls worth.

any thoughts, ideas, pounders, spit balls, etc… are welcomed.

Possibly country blocking? The nameservers are pretty close to Russia so some things are flagging it.

I’ve also seen a VPN cause this same issue recently @avr1
