Those Rain halos are cool

I saved you the headache. Those were so unpredictable, some worked well, some barely worked, then others decided to spray like garden hose a tiny stream of water.

3D printing works for many thing, the rain rings are not one of them if you need control (they might be ok outside, where you dont care if it floods or sprays in awkward directions).

Ok so the clay balls arrived today. I cut the top of the net under the pot bottom I made and had to individually feed clay balls in through the opening which was so fun it hurts. Thankfully I went with pretty small ones or it would have been worse. I yanked the paper towel out with tweezers while I was in there. The Chainmail Fuckvest got potted the correct way and is in a 5 gallon pot that I narrowed to fit the base.

I’ll take it! You ever move on the gutted AC exhaust port I mentioned? Smells a little bit like genius to me :sunglasses:

Not sure how many gallons it is since I rolled it tighter but it was still a decent amount of soil so 3 1/2 to 4 technically as is.

3.5 and 4 is good. I have some deep 5’s just a bit big. Didn’t care for them. I used old painter buckets forever.

I like your set up that’s very nice. Is that a automatic feeder? Or you just got them on that container?

My first grow was in a home depot bucket which is 5 gallon so the 5 gallon airpots were the first airpots I tried. I grew that Chocolate Thai tentacle monster in it so the proof is in the pudding!

Thanks man. The tote under them has my cloning machine in it. I just needed to get the plants closer to the light so I put them on there. I may do a small reservoir to refill in the future though.

I do the same myself. Small lights I don’t mind adjusting. I think Papa Pap’s does something like that. He’s in water. He’s gonna get mad at me now. Lol

I just put the light at max height any more and then put the plants where I need them instead of adjusting the light later on. With the LEDs and the ability to dim them it makes it even easier cause if I feel like I’m too close I’ll just turn them down a bit. I don’t use the hangers on the LED either, just crisscross the metal cables across the top bar in the tent.
