Now would be a good time to pull out the CT and hit that bud again

The same branch or the others (or both)?

Same branch, plus a 1 or 2 others if you want. When did you do the good deed first? A week ago?

6 days ago. Can you get a branch more pregnant? I didn’t realize that was a thing but I’m on board cause I expect that branch to do the heavy lifting on seed production.

On a side note during a casual phone conversation today I told a long time friend that I was a proud dad. She said no way really?! I was like yup found out for sure today. She was like that’s great! I said yup I pollinated about 6 days ago and I see it took. She called me an asshole and hung up! lol

Lol, hell yeah man! Hit that branch, it’s already seeded anyway. Unless I have the male in the tent (rare) I’ll drop pollen on em starting in week 3 and again in week 4, to maximize seed production. You don’t want to go through it after and see it could’ve produced way more seeds. Off hand I believe that CT is at least 10 weeks strain minimum so you’ll be good. Plenty of time to finish nicely.

I appreciate the heads up. I’ll give her another round tonight. Yeah 10-12 weeks so I’m expecting some nice dark tiger striped beans and can’t imagine I’d see many immature ones. Hell she’s only been in flower since the 9th so yesterday was the three week mark and she’s already visibly knocked up!

Looking like some hefty stalks there man! Those pots are eye catching. What are those?

Just talked to a friend and he’s bringing me more Swazi gold plants! And some Durban and tangie. How can I say no. Gotta go dig more holes and prep more spots out back now. Work work work. I love it.

I put you on the watch list friend. (Not the one the TSA has me on) :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

That’s why I like the quadline technique cause they get plump. The pots are Airpots. The design of the side is supposed to let roots grow into it and when they get near the air they retreat back into the pot. They eliminate getting rootbound too.

Tangie is on my short list so if you get seeds off any of those plants keep me in mind! I actually have some Durban on the way too. I hope you appreciate being able to grow outside! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Here’s a link to the pots if you want to read more on them.

I’ll gladly give you seeds, or maybe even send some cuts of it. I’ll find out later if they are Crocketts. I’ve actually already got some of those going and was planning to make some seeds since one ended up being a male, and has a nice tight node spacing and a citrusy stem rub. I was hoping it was gonna be female because of that, but I’m glad it’s a male with those traits.

I’ve got some radical bags that do the same, but they just look like mesh, not as alien as those. Might have to pick some of those up. It’s just so hard to buy pots when you have hundreds of them in the backyard, garage, and shed. We basically have a native plant nursery in the back.

It’s been a dream of mine forever. 20 acres is amazing! I’ve always grown on my patio, and in my tiny backyards as we’ve progressed through homes/apartments. Moved from a 5000sqft yard to 20 acres so things opens up a lot for me. Come visit!

Damn out of likes already today  That would be awesome! Does the male tend to pass on more of the growth traits? Not sure what you meant by being glad it’s a male with those traits.

I would advise if you’re going to look into the airpots to find knock offs because you can get them cheaper. Some of mine are knock offs I bought off Walmart’s site from a third party seller and I couldn’t even tell you which are legit and which are knockoffs from looking at them. I like that they store flat when I’m not using them too.

I meant being able to legally grow outdoors but yeah 20 acres to grow on would be amazing. I have my eye on chasing some acreage in the future where I can go nuts but a bunch of life stuff has to come first unfortunately.

Good point on the knock offs. And they store flat? Awesome!
I wish it were legal to grow here. Possession is decriminalized in my city for about 5 years now, but that doesn’t help me out.

I’m not sure if the male will pass those on, but they are in there. So there’s always the chance.

And I hear you about life. We needed space to grow our business, and somehow it worked out perfectly. We found a spot they has a neighbor between us and university owned land, so it will never be developed. And the neighbors have discussed selling us that property when the time comes. They are in their late 70s. Hope to have the capitol to buy it when the time comes. That would mean 40 acres!
Just a pipe dream right now.

Yeah they come flat and you wrap them around the disc that makes the bottom and then screw in two big plastic screws into one of the holes on the top and bottom to hold it together. Transplanting can be a dream if it’s dense enough because you just remove the screws and unroll the pot from around it.

40 acres would be insane. Not even seeing a neighbor alone would be great. You got some brass balls growing outside though! I figured you were just in a legal spot, not that you were clanging when you walked

That sounds perfect. The pot just falls off. No more tugging on the stem to coax it out.

I’ve got too many plants out there already. Over 50. Guess I’m an activist in that way.

Well I will not be hitting it with a second round of pollen because the pollen was frozen in the vial I thought for sure it was dried out before putting it in there, but I was obviously very wrong :grimacing:

Well at least she’s growing some seeds and I can grow one out and self it to have more F1s on hand down the line.

Was it the PPP pollen that froze?

No I didn’t sign up for any of the PPP. It was pollen from an Orange Grove I’ve since chopped down.

Ah, ok. Just had me worried for a second. Shame it wasnt dry bud.

Not a big deal. If I hadn’t already hit it once successfully it would be a huge bummer but I’ve got seeds forming already so hard to be too bummed.

i have a few air pots and i do like them, the only problem i have with them is that you have to water more frequently. i need to buy more but they’re expensive.

Yeah I agree on the watering. Sometimes it runs out the top half of the holes too while watering. Not enough to turn me off of them though. Look into the knockoffs for sure if you gotta buy more. My local grow shop sells the real ones and if I need just one or need it fast I’ll just grab the real ones but I’ve saved myself some decent money going with the cheapos.
