Slick1's kick in the ass grow

I made the drops last night and IF my calculations are right I should be at 5mg per .75ml. I did 0.50 at first and it was so little oil I added 0.25 to per dose, which ended up being more oil than I would have liked

Taking it for a test run now :crossed_fingers:

Ok so update one on the coconut oil- next time choose MCT. The oil had solidified overnight so I warmed it up back into liquid. Then it didn’t occur to me as I put it in ICED tea that it would solidify in the cold liquid

So now I’m gulping coconut oil flakes  A lesser man would regroup with a warm beverage but not this guy!

Sorry for the hijack. @anon93244739 was saying he put the mushroom mix in his soil and it was high in gypsum. He caught it and pm’d

Oh I did and it was, chunky! I think I got the dosing pretty close. I aimed to take 20mg and I’d say it felt right on. I feel like it came on faster than the MCT version for some reason too.

No not at all. Anything goes in here and I’m just glad to have you following along. I was just trying to point you in the right direction to get your question answered. :green_heart:

These bad leaves are pretty bad but they are a relatively small percentage thankfully. Definitely worse today. Should be able to water tomorrow with lowered PH and see.

Ghost Rose is already in flower! She’s flying! I may set up my other tent (if I can figure out how to squeeze it in there) and throw the CMH and the Choco Thai in there. That way I can hang my little LED and give the Pennywise more hours of light in this tent. If I do I’ll throw the Ghost Rose in there so it gets more light for flowering. Lavender will stay with the CT though cause I’m not sure how a photo would respond to starting life under 12/12 and then suddenly being given more light. Plus she’s growing in a pretty unusual way already

Lavender Frosting topped and a natural mainline at the first node. I planned on transplanting before she was flowering but now I’m not sure because of the unplanned additions to the tent.

And speaking of the two newest members both Pennywise beans sprouted and got potted an hour ago

For the seedrun I don’t know what to root for- a male and a female or females for selfing females. My goal is just to keep the seeds as close to the parent and limit variation (as much as that’s even possible). If anyone has any input let me have it!

Hey Slick1.
If you have any of those Pennywise seeds, I’d love to try and trade you out of a few. I’ve been reading up on it. I can see why you decided to make a run with one.

I’m excited to be running them finally! It’s a strain I definitely want on hand at all times (even if it’s in seed form) so it was always the plan to make more. Just doing it now instead of later cause it came to my attention a member here could benefit from them right now. I only have two beans left of it now that I popped these two but when the seedrun produces I’ll gladly send some your way, nothing needed back.

That would be stellar man. I’m medical as well. I have been trying as many strains as possible (14 different strains in the last two runs) looking for the right pain and tremor meds. I found out that I can blend some high CBD with an, approximately, 12 - 14 % THC strain of pot and that works wonders.
That sounds very much like the ratio of the Pennywise. Jack the Ripper should give more than enough kick in the ass to it.
BTW Thanks Slick.

Oh yeah Pennywise is right in that sweet spot percentage wise. Just glad to help!

Have you tried Sebring’s Revenge? It’s a 1:1 around 14% as well. Never tried it yet but it sounds promising.

No, I think Eagles mentioned it but I haven’t. I just began smoking about two months before I started growing. My doctor suggested it and I tried some Girl Scout Cookies.
It helped so I went medical and put together the room. One year later and I rarely have to take anything for pain other than my own.
what I’m getting to is that I have only tried, maybe, eight strains. The ones I grew during my last run and a couple that friends gave me before. My new run will be coming down in a very short time.
So no, but it sounds awesome.

I watched this grown '17-'19 and hoped to get it when I learned to grow. I will be growing Sebring’s Revenge when I do my med grow, after my CF grow after the Worcestershire AZAD Kashmir P3 BX - Landrace - grow. I need more people to let me be their care giver so I can grow more plants.

I would love to do that @G-paS but my health won’t allow me to grow much more than I am currently.

I think I just diagnosed my problem. I was leaning towards potassium deficiency with ph issues contributing but something was just not sitting right about it being potassium. It was close but just didn’t feel/look quite right. I think what I have is a calcium excess. Pictures are much closer to what I’m finding online and had given calmag and some bloom nutes in the feeding directly before the red spots popped. Light sensitivity is part of it and would also fit. I’m 90% sure that’s what I’m looking at now. Plus it would contribute to lockout so potassium deficiency being in the mix is possible.

So the plan to not feed and just water should do the trick. Going to PH lower and see what the runoff does. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

Ok well the kick in the ass struck again as I set my other tent up a little while ago. Same footprint but taller so the CMH and the Choco Thai will go in there, I’m glad to be able to add some headroom for her with the light. The Lavender is a photo that’s been under 12/12 from the start but is not in flower yet. Just going to throw her in with the CT instead of taking chances stressing her out by giving her 18/6. That will leave the first tent for the Ghost Rose (which is kicking ass under 12/12) and the Pennywise which hasn’t broken the soil yet. I’ll put my “1000W” LED in with them and run them at 18/6. I’m excited to see what the GR does with more light cause she’s a rocket.

Mr. two tents over here. Moving on up!

Actually got a third I’ve never even seen set up! Can’t remember if it’s an 8x8 or 8x10 or what. It’s big and I don’t have the room. Got a 1000W HPS I’ve never even turned on either cause it’s serious overkill for me right now. I got handed a sweeter starting package than I needed. Someone might cry if I posted what I got for $100 (and just threw another $100 the next time I saw him because it was a total steal even at $200)

Two tents and room as clean as it’s getting. I can’t believe this room is even considered a bedroom, and that I had a friend using it as one a few years back. It’s TIGHT.

Both tents finalized.

Ghost Rose killing it

Pennywise showing life

Lavender Frosting with it’s funky self. Since it’s staying under 12/12 I’m not going to bother training it even though she’s born for it. I only have one more of the medium sized pots and I want to transplant both Pennywise so she’s gonna stay in the little guy. I could use my 5 gal buckets but I’m not trying to grow trees.

And the Chocolate Thai looking ROUGH. I PH’d low last watering and the runoff testing at a nice piss yellow 6 so that’s a plus. I’ve never done a heavy defoliation on a plant halfway or more through flower but I really want to cut the rotten leaves off. Anyone advise for or against? I figure not all at once obviously but there’s a lot.

The thick bastard front right is the seeded cola to so hoping for lot of beans out of it
