It’s actually far easier! Though for breeding, I think it’s kinda foolish not to take a clone of the mother first… then grow out the clone while you flower the mother, so you can at least do a smoke test before possibly wasting your time. Then again, I don’t have the advantage of psychic cannabis powers.

Giving away seeds here has diminished in fun for me as well. Last time I gave away a few packs people claiming them didn’t even know what they were signing up for and then I had to follow up to see if they received them. Nobody reads anything posted about guidelines anywhere with the co ops either and yet they expect all the seeds. I’m planning on making some seeds myself soon and think I’ll just be reaching out to people I know directly to share vs posting them publicly. Lots of good people here just might pay off to be a bit more selective

Yup. Not a case of “ooh those sound great I would love some of those specifically!” it’s just hands out when they see the word “giveaway”. I didn’t do it to be thanked or have people kiss my ass over the cross I did but at least brose and see what the hell they are!

So I just checked the Pennywise and there was 2 spots of mold, 2 colas with a spot each. Those are chopped off now and I BOMBED that plant with peroxide and water at lights out, whole tent too using the box fan as a mist machine. Worst case scenario the entire plant is made into my salve and the mold I can’t see won’t matter. I’ll break out the microscope and see if any will be deemed smoke worthy.
I’ll chop most and keep spraying the portions I leave for reveg. I don’t see any in the auto tent but I plan to spray it too. I’m not up when the lights go out though so I’m going to cut them early tonight to spray just to be safe since the fan is blowing in that general direction from the photo tent.

Thanks. Really bummed but it could be worse. If it wasn’t for the fact that a good portion of the plant was already slated for salve anyway it would be a bugger bummer. If it looks good under the scope I might smoke some but if I’m not confident I’ll just make more salve. Then I’ll sell it to the old ladies that come into the gym my GF works at!
This is just good life advice right here. When in doubt don’t push it out!

I inspected mine like a fucker and couldn’t process smoking it anyway so I just made edibles with mine !
A lot of Water bottle size nuggets got tossed in the bin though

Right on! For me the first step to making seeds is flowering out potential moms, while holding cuts of each, to see if their worthy of being pollinated in the first place. I see it as a marathon, not a sprint.

That’s the thing my humidity is between 30 and 40% these days with the heat on all the time! I never saw it coming. I’m definitely on the better safe than sorry side and will scrap whatever I have to to feel confident in it.

On the Lavender Frosting the dead leaf theory fits and I would lean towards yes. On the Pennywise I have no idea. None of the leaves were completely dead in the areas I found it on the Pennywise. I’m scratching my head on this one.
