Flipped a few days. It’s been a month since transplant in the Gaia amended soil, so I top dressed 1tbs / gallon about a 60/40 mix of Gaia AP to Bloom. Watered about a gallon each with yucca.

I’m not going to selectively pollinate the 4x4 after all, it’s too much fucking around. The tents are 3 feet apart some not so selective pollination might happen anyway

22F. It’s been 3 weeks so I top dressed 3 tbs All Purpose, 4 tbs Bloom, and 2 tbs castings per 5 gallon pot. Watered in with some yucca and em1 at 1tsp / gal each

Thanks yeah he does look pretty good it was a nice surprise after his rough start.
Pollen doesn’t usually bother me but I was also wearing an n95 to avoid breathing the top dress and I try to be quick in that tent. I’ll crank the exhaust to max and open the zipper just enough to dump a jug of water or scratch in some top dress then close it up asap to keep the pollen contained. Seems to be working there’s no sign of pollination in the other tent so far.

Good idea, absolutely no reason to risk your lungs when n95’s exist/are cheap. Wish more people considered that when mixing up nutes/silica etc. Even that recharge stuff puts off a plume of dust, probably not good breathing in bacteria

In a moment of stoned brilliance I carried the chopped and bagged male across the room out to the compost, instead of just letting it die on the vine in the nice negative air pressure. Some pollen hit the other tent. Ah well… It was inevitable.
Seeded Cali O is throwing some nanners on the top colas. Others from the same mom are fine, so idk what’s up with that. Won’t be sending out any F3s though.

Of course, thanks for sending the F2s. Once they’re all shucked up I’ll send some out. That Cali O has some really very nice looking buds that I haven’t quite been able to capture in the pics. Silver Mountain too.
SM had lots of ambers so it came down today at 59F. Week or two on the others probably.
Pulled a few males and runts out of here about 25 days in, glad to be thinning it down.

OK so I have a few thousand Cali O F3s hand sorted over the past week. Send me your info if you want some. The seeded plants did throw a few nanners in late flower on the top buds, but the unseeded ones didn’t.
They’re very dank stinky plants, smells like gear oil with some orange cleaner mixed in while growing then dries down to a milder sweet funky orange. Nice up high and done in 10-11 weeks. Made from @Foreigner F2s of old Nirvana stock.
Next round is doing OK on Jack’s Citrus and some Calimagic.
Might Mite is racing into flower while the rest are still thinking about getting started.

21F the others have now overtaken Mighty Mite. I’m feeding 1/2 to 3/4 tsp / gal Jack’s Citrus every other day, sometime with Calimagic & Yucca. Mixed one 5 gallon pail of Jack’s Blossom Booster early stretch and might do another one week 6-8 but I don’t think it’ll make much difference really.
It mixes very easily and I haven’t been checking PH. With bigger pots this would be extremely lazy, I love it.
Smoke report on the OGer… Hit some rosin in the Crossing Tech Core 2.0 (which is awesome btw). Very earthy taste with a relaxing lazy heavy-body stone. It’s nice!
I’m behind on my mailings, but they’ll go out eventually.
