And now back to growing after a busy holiday season. I was away for a bit but the plants did OK with the lights dimmed way down- the pic is after a week or so of no watering. They’re looking much better on 1/2 tsp of Jacks AP per gal and a shot of calmag last week. It’s day 50V, I chopped the fussy ones to get down to a reasonable number and topped the lanky ones. Going to pot up and flip this week I think.
7F. I felt like switching up ferts again so I top dressed 1/3 cup (5 and a bit tbs?) Gaia Green All Purpose in the 3 gal pots then watered it in with 1/4tps Jack’s Blossom Booster and 1ml/gal calmag. They’re perking up.
Tonight I am enjoying some cookies made with @chronix (Strawberry Nuggets x Creme De La Chem) x (Gambian x Blueberry). I made them by weighing enough infused coconut oil to hit the potency I think I want, then adding the rest 75% or more as plain butter and melting them together. Tastes weedish but not too strong.
My math puts them at 35mg each if the flower was 15% but I have no idea what it actually was. I had a good time anyway.
Its hard to say from our combined small test pool (lol) but i feel like yours leans more to the chocolope side than the one i have going. We’ll have to see how the flowers develope. Mine look fairly large but it seems pretty sparse up close. No lack of resin though! It looks really good actually.

I can not at all describe the smell, its unlike anything ive ever come across. Its very heavy on a vegetable smell but theres so much more complexity i cant even begin to pick apart
The plan is to do a repro on Peak Seeds BC Sweet Skunk. Before PSBC shut down I got email permission to do it from the breeder, but since then they’ve started selling packs under a new brand on the legal market in BC. Can’t get them in Ontario. Probably can’t go for an official seed run on this one anyway.

PBB seemed like it’d be an interesting mix of old & new school. Took a long time to make the selections, this is what spoke to me when I threw the seeds on the table.
Not at all crunchy and I didn’t detect even a hint of any froggish notes.
First drama of the grow, about half of the seeds that cracked failed to launch. After excavating I found 1" headless taproots. That’s weird, damped off I guess. I did bury them deeper than usual for some reason.
OK, more seeds then. Properly thrown on the floor to prevent further catastrophes, and with some extra microplastics for good measure.
I accidentally did this. I usually use a sprayer so as not to disturb the soil but this time I just poured water moving the edges to the centre, burying the seeds deeper. It worked out but I was concerned for a second.
Orange is intriguing. Im very interested to see how she finishes for you and what your final thoughts are. I havent been touching mine since the first few samples so it gets a good full cure.
Well I haven’t got into it yet, but it looks and smells very nice, some kind of bookish incense leathery thing going on now that its dry, not getting any orange. It put out a lot of nice sized buds for a topped plant under low light, they’re about as big as some of the untopped ones.
Yeah I got a pretty nice pheno on that (GT x A5) x Chocolope, was a good producer. It looked a bit shaggy when I chopped but then the sugar leaves dried so small and brittle that it turned out to be a pretty easy trim, nice surprise there.
Having a chronix cookie today, pressing some of the harvest, a few boring veg pics… Things are going well now after the initial drama.
