After reading about all the germination issues I decided to plant my 6 seeds that I got as a freebie from Dagga Gardens. My seed buying addiction has turned into a seed popping addiction haha. It’s more rewarding!
Nangarhar Afghani (Chocalate Perfume Pheno) x Panama Red
2 are above the soil and 3 have tails, so it looks like I’ll be growing these out… I was half expecting them to be duds haha.

Double Chocolate Thai with pink pistils and dense flowers on 1, green and more spear like on the other.
Think this line is snow’s (Drawoh Thai x (BSHW x Drawoh Choc Thai)) x Unknown Choc Thai and that’s where the flower density comes from - but that’s just me guessing/reading old posts - anyone have a more informed opinion on it?
Does any one have some 74 oaxaca punta cometa seeds? I was gonna do an open pollination but I lost a couple males… one was so minty!
Double chocolate Thai a couple days from chop - smells like rotten meat, other pheno is going longer and has more of a floral/citrus type smell
Anyone have experience growing Snow’s “El Primo Smoking Mirror” Mexican Punto Rojo? Trying to track down another pack or someone’s OP of them to add to a seed increase on them this coming season. Would also just be interested in hearing folk’s experience growing them out, effects and such. 
Faster of the two Double Chocolate Thai plants from this season. This plant was chunkier and had a rich meaty/spice/leather smell to it. The longer running plant is likely to go 4-5 weeks longer and has a more classic appearance to the flowers, smells more like lemon/honeysuckle. Tried a little sample of this today while trimming - really nice effect, enhances colors, distortion of time, a little calming but not sedative. Might be something really nice with a good cure.
I’ll probably pop the rest of these and do a seed increase in a season or two, nothing mind blowing but definitely worth keeping around. Seeded these with some pollen I had from coastal seed’s Big Sur holy weed. Interested how that’ll turn out.
I still have a pack of Snowhigh’s Heroine I need to pop and see if they will germ, I know they were old when I got them but it’s certainly worth a shot…

As a pure sat seeker,never understood the draw behind cultivating a “chocolate Thai” line that looks like an afghani, drawoh and many others capitalizing on the market are apparently that, boggles my mind
Chocolate Thai, Juicy Fruit, Lemon Thai, The One are all Affy but they do bring a faint kind Thai effect and amazing aromas, so I dig them as unique old hybrids, but I wouldnt consider them anything close to Thai.
Agreed, I’m interested to see the “Chocolate Thai Pure” line via snowhigh, do you have any experience with it?
These were freebies that I thought might give a sense of what that line held but it was pretty clear these were leaning drawoh when they finished by early Nov instead of Jan. Was obvious in the flower structure as well.
I’ve never grown or smoked pure Thai but the effect from this reminds me of a muted Golden Tiger I ran a long time ago, whatever it is that’s crossed in keeps the ceiling on things and makes the lucid Thai visual stuff a little more warm and fuzzy around the edges.
A brief off-snow topic if it’s not too inappropriate for the thread. Do you have a good sense for which afghans are in each of those? Know that in TO its from Kandahar import but unfamiliar with the others.
