No doubt, was seriously depressed for like a year thinking she was a goner, or best an expensive tissue culture. Still gotta figure out what’s going on indoors tho. Agree she seems to prefer a little less intense light, not too much water either
You running clone or something you hatched on your own? 7 weeks too early for this girl. Not a big yielder but she’ll pack on some weight last couple weeks and just reek of sweet, floral cookie dough kerosene
Mine didn’t drink much either. But then again i didn’t geow them large.
Mines a cut i got from a buddy. Think it was called Mandarin Cookies from seed.
Normally I dont smoke any stash older than 7-8 months but I do with this plant. Cures and stores really nice.

Sometimes those curly crinkly leaves can be caused by low humidity, but usually only smaller plants unless it’s pretty low, and not typically in flower ime.
The thin distorted leaf growth can be caused by a few things, certain micronutrients being deficient can cause funky growth like that, same with excessive salt buildup or pH related lockout.
Of course it’s also possible for disease to cause this type of growth. Is this happening on multiple plants and strains, across multiple grows?

Yeah every indoor run of this clone has been having this issue for couple years now. Other genetics I grow do not have this happen. Humidity remains pretty steady around 50-60% in veg room. I’ve done a bit of experimenting with pH already but doesn’t seem to be related to that. Just using organics and usually plain, dechlorinated water buffered to ~6.5 with white vinegar. During flower I’ll sometimes add some kelp powder, molasses, and kmag for a few feedings.
Salt buildup in coco definitely another avenue I’m going to look into. Possible she’s just more sensitive to it than other strains. Rinsed some really well and prepared couple fresh pots. Will transplant soon and pray

Ah that’s weird for sure, have you ever gotten any testing for pathogens? It’s possible there’s a disease in the plants, you could always try cleaning them up in tissue culture if you’re not wanting to spend the money on testing
There are some strains that do just grow a bit crinkly, too of course. I find lots of old bubba s1 seeds seem to produce plants that have some crinkly leaves especially early on.
Do they seem to be otherwise pretty normal or are they producing less than before?

Haven’t done any testing, was pretty much at that point until now that I see she grows fine outside. I could be wrong but doesn’t make sense a plant infected with a viral pathogen would still be able to reach full potential. Maybe if it was newly infected but my girls would be swimming in it by now if they had something
She is a finicky one but never gave me this much trouble in past. I haven’t even run her in flower for awhile now. Waste to try flowering unhealthy plant you know won’t produce to her level
More I think about it the salt angle just adds up. She doesn’t like a lot of water and rarely ever feed until runoff and cleanse the roots/soil so to speak like I do with other strains

Do you use any type of fulvic?

I’ve added humic and fulvic to water at times. Didn’t notice much benefit so kinda cut out just to save money where I can. The humic raised pH quite a bit and took good amount of acid to get down. Fulvic was neutral at least. I’ll throw in a compost tea every month or two to add some humic/fulvic among other things to soil

Definitely a interesting conundrum haha. I think it’s possible a pathogen could be less effective at hurting the plant outdoors actually, as it could be competing with many other microbes and the plant would have greater access to beneficial microbes in the outdoor environment, but that’s just a thought that crosses my mind when I read your post.
I find the most obvious thing usually is the problem, and excess salts could easily be the culprit. Some plants are more susceptible to the effects than others. Hopefully you can get it sorted, it just seems weird that it’s a cross many different mediums, that makes me wonder if it’s really salts

Haven’t really tried changing up my base mix yet. For the longest time I thought it was some nutrient issue and I was a moron for not being able to figure it out. But after enough tinkering became obvious it was something more complex. Plan now is to grow some clones in a variety of different mixes and see if that provides any clues

Have you used that distilled vinegar the whole time?. Did you use it on your outside plant. Why not use a living vinegar culture.
Yeah been using white vinegar as pH down for long time. No reason other than it’s cheap and readily available

Did the outside plant get it? Wondering if the distilled is co-opting some micro nutrients as distilled water has this effect at times.

Yeah but only when I have to feed her bc of lack of rain so fair to say she got less of it than indoor plants would get. But been using long before these issues arose so don’t think that’s it
