Not 100% a myth. An old mother plant can degrade, and while rare clones can definitely degrade.
I’m talking about clones of clones, fresh cuts originating from let’s say 30 years ago
Yeah, makes sense for sure.
In regards to the main post, I would say she duded out…or maybe Hop Latent Virus…
Old Schooler always say, if you keep Mothers by cutting clones from clones, they loose quality after a while. I think that’s what Duded out means.
Heard that can happen but never seen anything conclusive and doesn’t seem to be the case here. She’s putting out flower (albeit outside) as good as she did in my first indoor run with her 5 years ago. If there was some kind of genetic degradation or viral infection it doesn’t make sense it could randomly disappear for one run regardless of environment
Week 7-8ish and the purple hues creeping in with the colder weather. Wanted to let her go another couple weeks but looks like weather forecast going to force me to chop this weekend.
Will be transplanting some indoor clones into 5 gal pots with several different mixes in next few days. Some with coco washed, some not. Some with mykos some without. Some with chitin fertilizers or none.
