Do you have specific questions?
Would you like to read the papers yourself?
I will try to give you both side of the story so you can make an informed decision.
I have heard of folks having good luck with that approach.
Pretty sure it helps with those who can not tolerate the high but need large doses.
This guy may be of interest.
He said the opposite of the hearsay I posted above.
If a high THC cannabis oil gets into the bloodstream, you will have a psychoactive effect, if it does not, there will be no effect. Many people claim they use high THC cannabis without any psychoactive effect, and therefor, I would question if it is being absorbed.
Following are links to two articles showing no rectal absorption of oils:

Dear Allan, Thank you for your valuable input on this matter. We experience the same questions in Belgium. Several patients are experimenting with rectal administration of medicinal cannabis. Most of them do not experience any (psychotropic) effects. We are lead to believe that a placebo-effect is in play, in cases where previously cannabis naive patients started with the rectal administration of THC-rich products (cannabis extract in several different forms of oil) . We will continue to monitor the situation in the field.
Kind regards, Dom
Then we have nano particles.
If you wish to expand on any of this just let me know the direction we should go.
If you have a paper you would like to read but don’t have access to shoot me the title and I will try to find it for ya.
Again I am more than happy to help. ![]()
