Having a steady intake of fermented foods definitely helps maintain a healthy gut.
My go to favorites are Miso, Kimchi and Doubanjiang.

Kimchi is relatively easy to make and there are lots of different recipes.
Used cucumbers this year thanks to a good crop.

Agreed.
Usually present at every meal.

Miso is a go to fermented product in Japan and much of Northeast China.

Tempeh works too.

Kefir might have to go on my list.
I try to avoid dairy products, but I’ll see how I react to kefir.
Definitely gut and immune friendly.
