I do tend to geek out on the science a lot, and I do a ton of research on grow science, read scientific studies, and try to apply things from other crops over to cannabis. I am a super geek when it comes to science lol.

So if yall were gonna pick One of the these Spectrums to run for the whole grow, which would yall pick?

Here is the full Spectrum Chart Including the UV and IR.

Right now I have it set on Number 8, mostly for the balanced UV and IR Spectrums.

Start Blue in veg. then RED in flower.

Like… in veg, you’re gonna be on that 1 setting the most. Then you flip, and you’ll want something in the middle. then another month into flower, maybe 6 weeks into flower, you’ll want all that red.

UV in veg gave me lots of branches. but took forever to flip some of them. IR gave me better thicker growth. same with the Far Reds. I have UVB lights on now, week 7 or 8 of flowering.

If you were going to pick one setting to leave it on for the entire grow when growing autoflowers which would you pick?

I wouldn’t pick one for the entire grow. that’s a silly idea. Start blue. work your way to red.

Well, I dont really have a choice on this grow, See I have 2 in flower, one about to flower, one in veg and two seedlings that JUST broke the surface. I was staggering my grow(my other light is 400w and no spectrum choices, just dimmable). So I cant really go full flower with 3 in various stages of veg. All are autos.

So. pick something 3/4ths red. if it’s 1 =blue. 15 = red. something like 11 would be fine.
