I found these buggers in some runoff water, never seen em before. Any idea on what they might be? Friend or foe?

Springtails, they break down organic matter and won’t harm your plants.

Ahhh that’s what those little fookers are huh? Easy to see why they are called springtails, those things can move
They could be an indication that you are overwatering if there are too many.
