My partner follows geomagnetic storms as they fuck with her head. I’m hoping for a cloudless night too!

I think we may be facing a Carrington event now that ya mention it. IF this first CME is already G4, and we have 7 MORE strong CMEs on the way… I meannnnnnn

But according to power grid / space weather nerds, a carrington event wouldnt knock out powergrid down so we good I guess Xd

I watch a show called The Why Files. Really cool. He takes you down the path of a mystery, urban legend, etc. Really pulls you in. Then does his best to debunk it.

He talks about the Carrington event in numerous episodes. He ties it back to the great flood, a story which is part of cultures all around the world.

I’m hopeful, but forcast calls for a cloudy evening here.

Maine, 1989 on a camping trip i got surprised with a hell of a show… my first experience. Like a gift from God.

Few years later camped on a cliff looking over the Atlantic in far northern Nova Scotia, lights started to dance in the sky… only for rain clouds to roll in and run the experience.

One more very good viewing is high on my bucket list.
