This Year, Four Categories Await You: as we embark on the Solo Cup Challenge 2024, we’re thrilled to present three exciting categories that will define your solo cup cultivation journey. Each category offers a unique canvas for your green ambitions, and it’s time to unveil the possibilities that await:
1. Auto-flowering (90 Days)
2. Indica Wonderland (120 Days)
3. Sativa Utopia (150 Days)
4. The Clone Cup (120 Days)
The Solo Cup Challenge invites you to select your path and sow the seeds of your solo cup adventure. Whether you’re chasing speed, embracing classic strength, or indulging in uplifting vibes, may your green thumb magic flourish in every category.
How to Join: Sign up on the post below starting February 1st. Declare your intended cultivars and assign a category to each cultivar. Seal your commitment by signing up before the deadline on February 25, 2024.
Key Dates:
- Signups Open: February 1, 2024
- Signups Close: February 25, 2024
- Challenge Starts: March 1, 2024
- Seed Start End Date: March 7th, 2024
- Auto-flowering End: May 30, 2024
- Indica End: June 29, 2024
- Sativa End: July 29, 2024
Rules:
- Seed Start Date: Start seeds on or before March 7th, 2024.

Solo Cup Specification:
- 16-18 ounce solo cups. No substitutions allowed.
- Roots must ONLY be constrained to the solo cup.
- Participants have flexibility in choosing their watering method (hand watering or automated system).
- Vegetative Period: You can veg for how long you want, you just need to hit the end dates for each category.
- Growing Medium: Any medium allowed. Nothing from outside the cup except for the top of the cup (the plant itself).
- Code of Conduct: No negative behaviour or comments tolerated.
- Judging Criteria: Harvest weight, appearance and overall grow style. Winners will be announced after the completion of each category.
- Updates and Reporting: Participants must provide bi-weekly updates at a minimum and a final harvest post.
- Seed Source Acknowledgment: You need to declare what your seeds are, who bred them and which category they belong to. If they are a reproduction, you need to declare who reproduced them.
Prizes:
- Category Champions in Auto-flowering, Indica, and Sativa will receive a coveted free seed pack of choice from Growing Up Ganja.
- Each Category Champion will receive three crosses made by @JustANobody friend Calicaveman(calicaveman408@IG), gifted from @JustANobody.
