We should have categories. Photo Seed, photo clone, and auto. That way you’re competing against like plants.

Thats cool, its just a different timeline.
So you will have to almost have a different thread because they will be at totally different stages of growth.
The clones will be…2-3 weeks ahead of the seed plants?

Yeah if we do it right we can have “submission” dates varied so that each category can finish up and post. With different submission dates it should be easier to have group votes.
I’m sure @Fortman420 has a plan.

For sure, im just coming from a background of RIU for about 8 years or so they have been having these contests… heres a general list of rules on there that i have been part of
No offense to anyone, but lots of hurt feelings ALWAYS happen if the rules arent set in stone about certain little things like the roots being contained, the actual size of the cups, etc.
But thats if theres prizes involved, if its just for pride/forum karma, this obviously wouldnt be an issue

Last years turned into a bragging/karma comp. It was fun. I want to make some seeds this fall so I’ll probably offer fresh made seeds as a participation bonus if I’m successful.

In a way I wish we could all be running the same beans too to really make it interesting. Also I’m in the process of hopefully f2ing some White Widow x 88g13hp and then hitting another one with Crippy Bx pollen if all goes well I’m down to throw into the pot

That would be completely up to you and everyone else involved but I’m down for whatever you guys choose to do. When it’s time I’m gonna have a few autos running in solos regardless anyway it just kinda worked out with the timeline for doing this with you guys too lol

This has been something that I’ve thought about quite a lot. This would give breeders a chances to watch a stock of theyre recent work to be grown out quickly. This will provide valuable progeny information and honestly its nice to see your work grown out
