Haha, you never know! Maybe she’ll respond positively to the light change and just exploooooooode…
Or maybe you’ll end up with five grams haha.

Just having a closer look at it today. It’s slowly putting out new leaves, on its 5th node.
But it isn’t putting out any side branches. Like not a thing at all not even a sign of a branch.
Not sure how well flower clusters will form with no growth between nodes.
Guess we’ll find out!
the smoke report was really interesting. i cant recall any of the zkittles hybrids yet having a sedative effect however the wedding cake hybrid did provide good rest. it was the perfect weekday wake and bake though. tangy grapefruit sounds right on point. “taste the rainbow” is a bit dreamy but i figured it was from the herijuana component lol. sounds like a real keeper.
the stickers/labels and plastic coins are great too, very clean , stack-able. great idea.
Normally I wouldn’t trust just my judgement alone, but my brother and Fiancé had the same response to it. My Fiancé saves her Durban x Zkittles joints until last smoke before sleeping now haha.
Its intoxicating (the smell) lol I can’t get enough of it.
Thanks, I like to stay organised where i can.
I have a million little tubs and containers all around the house for all sorts of things
I like these for seeds though, and I like the presentation of it too, if I ever send them out yo others.
Sneaking back into this grow diary as if I never left
The last grow was a disaster, culminating in a landlord inspection/work on the property and me having to dismantle the whole set up and move the soil bed outside
I tried to take clones of the plants at the time and keep them, but unfortunately that wasn’t a viable option. So the whole thing got scrapped.
Life goes on and and a wise man once said, “Plant more seeds”.
So here we are!
We have x5 of CSI’s Mendo P fallen soldiers.
Plus some Basil, Rosemary and a Ficus Religiosa (Bodhi tree.)
The current set up is the same as before, with the exception of the large soil bed being replaced with pots this time. Still organic soil mix, but I’ll be feeding with some organic liquid feeds from Dr Forest here in the UK, instead of just straight water.
The big square soil bed had to be moved outside, and I didn’t want to bring that back in after being outdoors for so long.
But I’ll be using it to grow veggies in this summer so not all is lost.
Here’s a bit of a closer look at the fallen soldier crosses.

I found a list of the mom plants used in CSIs TK crosses, so I’m assuming that these Mendo P beans will have the same mom’s…
If anyone can chime in and say for certain what moms were used in CSIs Mendo P crosses, I’d love to know.
Someone grew those Fallen Soldiers here on OG, I think, but I can’t remember who it was now. So, no, I can’t help at all haha. But I’m pretty sure somebody grew a few of those if you wanna look around. Or maybe they just talked about those seeds, I dunno haha.
Anyway, good to see you back. That sucks about the landlord inspection, but at least you’re growing again…
Ah cool man I’ll try have a bit search…
I think I’d asked about them previously on the CSI thread, but I’ll see what I can find.
In hindsight I should have just asked Caleb while I was a member of the Breeders Syndicate discord haha
Yeh, I’m glad to be back in the swing of things.
This has spurred me on even more to get our own home sorted, I’m tired of being at the mercy of landlords. ALAB! (All Landlords Are Bastards)
What a difference a week makes.
I topdressed with a ‘bloom’ mix and then
gave them all good feed, with some cheapo ‘organic’ liquid feed from b&q.
I’ve used this same stuff on veggies outdoors before and had good results, so why not.
I added some cal/mag, silicon and a liquid veg booster from Dr Forest.
For Anyone interested in the UK, highly recommend their products. (And no I’m not sponsored )

5 days into flower now.
The vigour all of these plants have is outstanding.
I’m not getting any particularly unique odours just yet, but they do have a heavy general stank to them. Can’t wait to see what they each start to do in flower.
Before I flipped to flower, I added another 2inch of soil to the pots and gave them a light top dress with a bloom booster. Watered in with liquid seaweed and cal/mag. So far only #4 has shown a slight burn to some of the top leaves. I really cant be arsed with making a different mix for individual plants, so itll just have to live with it
(I didnt bother with gradually lowering light hours into flower this time, as I’m on a strict schedule for having these cut down).

12 days into flower.
Watered in an organic bloom booster from Dr Forest yesterday with some cal mag.
Not much else to report on right now.
Day 16 of flower on the Mendo P fallen soldiers from CSI (via @supershitfuck )
Might have to thin out some of the foliage a little next week, I’ve been taking the odd leaves hear and there already. But it’s getting a bit crowded now.
20 days into flower, they’re just starting to show their own unique aromas now too.
Back right corner has the sweetest, tropical fruit smell to it.
I watered in with a 1.5x dose of organic liquid feed as they seemed to be handling the regular dose absolutely fine.
I’m also adding the bloom booster from Dr Forest, for anyone in the UK, highly recommend their products.
Couple of close ups of the buds sites,
Day 32 of flower now.
Bit of a issue with 2 of them having massive nut sacks everywhere.
So we’re down to 3 now.
Apparently Mendo P is known for this indoors (and with some of the other possible genetics being Cookies, Chem D, Chem 91 etc…) I should have guessed there’d be issues.
But these 3 are going strong, and I hopefully caught it early enough to prevent there being thousands of seeds lol.
Few close up shots.
Because I had to pull 2 of the Mendo P fallen soldiers, I’ve also popped a few extra beans this week.
X4 Sherbet x Wedding Cake again from CSI.
They’ve only just popped up above the soil today, so hopefully in 4 weeks time when the others come down, these should be going in to veg for a week and then flip straight to flower.
I suspect that it probably has more to do with them being feminized seeds, unless that Fallen Soldiers cross is the extremely rare non-feminized CSI cross. I tested (tested, before they were officially released) Bodhi’s Mendo Purps x SSDD a few years ago and didn’t have any intersex issues at all.
Either way, that blows haha.
Ah really?
Someone said specifically that Bodhi offered his Mendo P Cross as a free gift because it had those hermie issues indoors…
These are all fems, I believe it said so on the pack.
Can’t be helped really, not ideal, but not the end of the world for me.
Hoping for just 100% pure ladies with the Sherbert x Wedding Cake though lol.
Well, they’re wrong haha. That Mendo Purps x SSDD is what he eventually called Mendo Sunshine and which was “officially” released (for sale) like four or five years ago. I didn’t like the yields on the plants I grew, but I think that had more to do with me than the genetics. Good smoke, though.
Mhm, yeah, I always hope for 100% ladies every grow, too… haha.
Had a mad few weeks, so havnt been updating this.
Plus I’ll be honest, since spotting the ball sacks and knowing I’ll be picking out hundreds (if not thousands) of seeds, I kind of just gave up on these.
They’ve still been getting organic liquid feed with a soap nut wetting agent every 4-5days.
But it looks like they’ve had a bit of thrips damage recently too. This run hasn’t been blessed at all .
I’ll be pulling these down at about 54-55days (end of this week coming), as I have 4 Wedding Cake x Sherbet seedlings on waiting for the space
