:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: thanks Man.
It’s definitely getting smoked. I just need to find a good recipe for the seeds now. I might try making bread with them baked in.

I’ve lightly toasted, then sprinkled them into, and on top of cookies. Gave a nice nutty and crunchy thing

I look forward to seeing those new seedlings take off. Here’s to a smoother, more successful run next time around! Happy growing!

To be fair it was partially my own fault, for not doing an research on the seeds before popping them.
I’m hoping these Wedding Cake x Sherbets will veg for about 2 weeks, then flip.

I might give that a try, I had a nice recipe for some protein cookies that I used to make, and these seeds could add a bit extra protein to them too.

Only just managing to keep this ‘journal’ going right now. Last grow was a write off, still picking 100s of seeds out of buds. The smoke is still actually decent to be fair. Just a very time consuming joint making process now.

Its been a rough week, my Dad passed last Friday and its still not entirely real right now. He loved seeing my plants, and I got the green thumbs from watching him growing tomatoes and peppers in his cobbled together greenhouse as a kid.
Keeping up with growing, is taking up most of my limited mental bandwidth at the moment, so posts here will be sporadic.
I don’t even know who I’m saying this too if I’m being honest. Just sort of feels better putting it out there into the universe.

Onwards with the next grow though.
Here’s some plants.
Sherbet x Wedding Cake from CSI.

I spotted a few thrips, so I’ve been spraying every other day with Lavender oil, neem, apple cider vinegar and warm water with a couple drops of liquid soap nut.
Seems to be doing the trick.
Hoping these 4 won’t start swinging balls.

sorry to hear about your dads passing, I lost my father a few years back and miss him terribly… but he does still remain with you in your memories thou.

Your plants are looking fantastic, hopefully you can terminate those pesky thrips and have a smooth grow

Thanks dude! Appreciate that.

I hope so haha, I need it right now. Thrips seem to have gone, but I know they have a life cycle that means they could reappear, so I’ll keep a close eye.:v:

Is that just readily available in the UK?

I tried looking for some Doctor Zymes, because I see everyone talking about it when it comes to thrips.
Hopefully this DIY concoction does the trick though.

I get it from eBay uk , it’s not on as a listing , you buy something else and message the guy , and he sends that instead

Or I can post you a sachet that makes 1L spray

You can also get captain jacks ( £35 ) or Monterey for £43
Both containing spinosad ( eBay uk )

They always come back unless you use spinosad , everything else only knocks them back

I’ll see what happens with these in next few days, if I see them coming back I’ll drop you a message mate.
Appreciate it!

Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words.

I can’t touch a tomato plant without getting that sent and thinking of him now.
He had some tomatoes that he’d started at his home, which im really tempted to go pick up, and keep the seeds and grow them year on year.
6hr drive though to his place…
I know for American/Canadians 6hr is a daily commute  for a British person, that’s like half of our country we’re driving through! Hah

Condolences on your dad’s passing mate. My father also inspired me to garden and get outdoors building rock walls and such. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge of plant species especially natives. Best of luck with the grow bud :+1::pray::green_heart:
