Can folks here with experience explain for those of us just learning how and where the sour lines evolved? For example when visiting a friend in New England i got a couple pre-rolls of something called slightly sour…This line of cannabis is some of the best tasting, great feeling herb ive had in awhile. Noticed limonene,Linalool, Caryophyllene and Pinene seem to be the big highlighted terpene profile. Can any experienced folks with sour explain this please and thankyou.
Looks like they should call that joint “Slighty Sprayed”.If they spray enough Terps on it they can call it “Sticky Charlie”
I dont have alot of experience spraying flowers or smoking them so im perplexed about that. whats the first clue this has been sprayed?
What makes you think it was sprayed , if the terpene level is your sole indicator I would disagree as I have strains that test well over 3% terpenes.
I just figured they were trolling me and asked others lmaop!
Yeah about that I dont believe those stickers they use on any pre roll.I live next to a rez and ive seen what the dispos are slapping on pre rolls Joints that taste like pencil shavings that they have to spray product on to maintain a shelf life where the joints are appealing to a customer a lot of them goof on the percentages too .You ever smoke a preroll thats been sitting on a shelf for a hot min? it turns into Sawdust after awhile. Those Gaudy looking labels look like something i could get printed of of Temu They have tons on DHgate even preprinted tubes and brand label knock off carts to fill with Rosin.Plus with Maine having all those Giant Illegal Chinese Grows to fill in the Gap theres a possibility that Joint could be thier product who knows what thier using As pesticides and fungicides I prefer not to ingest Eagle 20 at all costs Ill just grow my own Thanks but no thanks.
Its excellent product, Until someone has actually smoked these, id be hard id bet to ascertain anything really. The folks whom own the company that produces these are a great company with great track record both testing and reviews from longstanding folks who felt very similar to me after trying it.
All the more power to them.Hope nothing but the best
Ignore the terpenes totally useless, its not the terps but the 100+ cannabinoids that do the trick… Terps are highly overrated. I learned this. Terps are about the flavor and not much else, and only contribute only a small amount to the final buzz.
A Tastey Costly Scoobie Snack and thats about it.When i see the advertisement of the Terp word salad even before the Supposed THC content thats a red flag and i dont fall into the whole terpene philosophy as more for hard evidence of different cannibinoid profiles.Even if Its not adulterated with terp sprays If anything one could even go as far as to say that the breeding for terpenes is what brought all this Shit weed about when they bred certain cannibinoids out of existence chasing higher thc and desert flavor Terps sidelining all the goodies because at least my weed tastes like Sugar cookies right?.Weed started to change when all
The cookies and Runtz and Nerdz shit came out and Weed got all Wonky
Assumptions were not what was asked for. Can we please stay on topic? Asking for how the lines evolved and the specific terpenes mentioned in the ad shouldnt illicit responses like these in a helpful community.
So i think your question is way too broad.
“Sour,” isnt a terp.
Those terps listed are terps.
You need to find the combination that makes the sour taste(i have no clue which ones combined do that) and then focus on that lineage.
That says the main terps present and the overall percentage of terps% but it doesnt break it down on your example.
Those terps are the most common in cannabis as well…so idk if they are just putting the names on there or its actually the makeup.
there are LOTS of sour lines, and theres a giant thread thats exteemely active on here about one of the most famous lines, Sour D
Anyway, i hope this helps
Slightly sour is sour diesel x lemon skunk. Same cross as lemon tree which is a great strain being used by a lot of breeders and growers right now. The lemon brings a great taste and a cerebral high.
Thanks ziggy this is exactly what i was looking for, guess im living in a closet because 1. where i live there was sour diesel…thats IT! No wonderous sour lines to pick from like others may have. this line has a very unique profile to it that i was shocked by…
here you guys who dont believe my honesty wtf ever you tell the guys at forbins they appear to be sprayed ok? Cause i just wanna find the lines so i can grow them from friendly growmies that dont act like know it alls or misconstrue my intentions by making assumptions! Hey ziggy , thx for your help!
And then theres the answer…sour d is the lineage OP is looking to study, and as I said, theres a VERY active thread right now on here
OP is very passive agressive though and not comprehending what others are saying , so peace out
Please tell forbins your concerns ok? Im just fed up with folks following me around here in my posts then trying to act like they cant understand why im frustrated…no real help just trying to do what exactly?
Check out CSI Humboldts lemon tree or lemon party crosses or s1s also bodhis new lavender lemonade male has lemon tree in it.
I appreciate it because i wanna hold on to these lines if i can get something similar to what these prerolls were. One of the most over powering awesome exhale smokes ive had since grape stomper from Gage green group. Im not here to bicker or try to label others…im here to learn, support the site and get my gear thumping for me self suffiicent as possible…Ya dont like me? Oh well thats life!
I paid 5 bucks for it and after doing alittle research i realize your OPINION is just that and no where near accurate! I also took into account those whom thought your approach was worthy of likes and will ignore them as well!
Its your Story you tell it man.Enjoy your Terpene sprayed Midz.![]()
