Anyone else following space weather happenings? There’s a big solar flare just been released by the sun, pointed pretty much directly at earth. Should be some significant electrical interference and GPS disturbance over the next 48 hours. Northern lights and aurora australis could be more prominent than usual.

Pretty high forcast for aurora in my area, hoping the clouds clear up soon. Last time i saw a forecast this high, it was an absolutely crazy spectacle.

up here in BC my wife said people were seeing them around 2:30 this morning (pacific) . Should be good tonight if these intermittent but large clouds blow out by nightfall

The auroras were visible in states including New Mexico, California, Utah, Wyoming and even parts of Oklahoma.
