I don’t know if you have peppers flies there, but the cherry peppers are the first thing they hit for me. They’re so bad I stopped trying to grow them all together. If I did again, I would grow them under cover. Good luck with yours though, and maybe they aren’t even a concern for you, idk.

Im gonna try to grow some fresnos, habeneros and something called red embers outside this year, along with a bunch of sweet cherry tomatoes.

I can see getting into sweet peppers to go alongside em :candy::hot_pepper:
Im interested if you still have some candy pepper beans :sunglasses:

Oh cool.

Right now, I’m growing Chocolate Bhut Jolokia, Sugar Rush Peach, Lemon Drop, Hungarian Hot Wax, Fresno, and Shishito peppers!

I’m also trying to grow Numex Suave Orange and Caribbean Red but they still haven’t germinated for some reason.

My favorite so far. I think I’ve got some of the others you listed. I’m waiting for warm weather to Plant more peppers. Currently got 2x Fresno peppers I’m hopeful they are yummy. I only got the Frensno cause my wife purchased some from the store and I planted the seeds, they grew into plants so far.

I’ve never grown them yet but I’m excited. I like red jalapenos and I’ve heard Fresnos are even better!

I’ve got cherry peppers this year for the first time, never had pests on my bells cayenne or jalapeños. What region have you had trouble with pepper fly’s & cherry peppers?

All I know is I’ve had frescos 1 time and made hot sauce from them. Turned out so good I started growing the peppers

I had a small numex suave orange plant last year. Took a lot longer to germ than i expected IIRC, even for pepper seeds. Grew hale and hearty once it got outside. Plant had nice structure and the peppers were beautiful – but not my cup of tea taste wise. Like a… flowery earwax kind of flavor. Maybe i just couldnt figure out a good use for them.
