Ohh I like this idea, Ill try this for sure. Thank you @Skyf Ive always used DE dry previously.
Likewise
I sometimes just use it dry if I’m lazy but don’t like breathing the dust in… although a tsp of DE taken with a little water every now and again is very good for getting rid of internal parasites.
Doing a preharvest deleafing…not a mite or web to be seen.
Have harvested 10 plants so far and deleafed about another 4, 30ish more to go.
.
.
Removed some leaves from the smaller closer…some.plant look to have another 2 weeks to go…provably because theblower wattage in the smaller closet.
Wish i would have blown or washed the plants now…some de is becoming airborne again while leaf stripping. Still better than battling mites.
Hope you will be using a mask …
Theres not much…just a small bit of dust here and there…still better than mites.
When working.in the feed mill, the masks wpuld get sweaty and clogged…was harder wearing the mask…but inhaling a bunch of copper sulfate and all this wasnt much fun either…the strawbeey flavouring for.the piglet feed is nice when breathed in…taste the strawberry marshmallow taste…the lemon lime flovpur is nice too.
This autocorrect is garbage. Puts on GOOGL
I work with this stuff too, and Peroxide and other types of acids like oxalic acid & Muriatic industrial strengths. Nasty stuff.
Hey Tappy. How the hell are you dude? I’ve gotten my shyt under control now I’m tagging all the homies. I love to see the harvest. Just a bit of FG’s happening down here. I use Lost Coast Plant therapy. It’s been my saving grace. From all mildews, pwm, thrip’s, and FG’s. It feels good to be back full time here and my runs have improved.
Be safe up there dude. Gimmie a holler.
I agree @Skyf - but PLEASE make sure it’s food grade DE before ingesting it.
The thing I’ve seen to be the most effective is powdered sulfur, it literally repels them away from the plant and spinosad is another option that works but used together in tandem it will eliminate the mites quick.
Everything else sounds like too much work. I probably could have got away with just 1 application of de.
This stuff is organic, pet/child/people friendly. Doesnt get any easier. Why piss around with chemicals and all this.
This harvest is in the bag.
.
And some actual buds from harvest in a bag…cure has begun.
.
Nana glue x sugar belts

Next round is in.
Once its wet its silica
Sulfur is perfectly safe and organic, spinosad is a mixture of bacteria that targets certain insects but doesn’t affect predators.
A lot of our food also has sulfur in it for preservation purposes.
