Found spidermites on leaves of my incredible bulk female on week 3 of flowering can I still spray mite killer on it with ruining the immature buds. Cheers Bob
@Billybob that’s a bummer mate not sure if it would be safe to spray but you would have to do a wash of the bud’s I would say maybe someone else could give you a answer
No worries matey. Brought a small plant from outdoors and I think it had mites on it and gave it to my big girl.
@Billybob can you take it outside mate and hose it off and then maybe spray with some dish liquid and water ?
I’m thinking of spraying it with mild does of folar feed to stop the breeding. I’ll look into it more to see if I can spray anything this early in flowering that won’t affect the buds. Plant is massive taking up a 4x4 tent
Oil sprays can burn leaves and flowers under lights. Consider spraying with lights off. Undersides of the leaves are where most spider mites live.
I’ll give that a try matey. At the moment there’s only 1 or 2 on every leaf ive checked so I’ll hit it hard over the next week or I’ll lose the pound + of buds from the plant
Farken mites…I wish you good luck.
I often think off this happening to me, but so far I never had spidermites.
Knock on wood!
I also bring plants in and out, but I often spray neem/soap and Ed rosenthals zero tolerance.
I’d like to spray every three weeks, but that doesn’t always work with my memory ![]()
My constant pests around the house are caterpillars, scales and fungus gnats.
I hope it stays this way, mites don’t sound tempting
I’ve only ever had them one other time but I got rid of them pretty easy with sprays. But different this time with week 3 of flowering. But if the spray stuffs up the plant them I’ll just pollinate the buds left and make enough seeds for future growing. I’ve got some of your plants growing out in greenhouses still not to cold here so there thriving gorilla fume X incredible bulk sounds good to me ,
I hope you can get rid of them ![]()
Good luck
That’s sound like a drag spider mites are a problem for many growers across the globe and here on overgrow we spray them with mild treatment a good wash with water and soap it can be dawn soap soap you shower with in the bath just collect it in a spray bottle and disperse some on your plant thia remedy should drown the little devils let me know if it works for you kudos overgrow buddy’s
Ahem…

The Incredible Bulk looking good @Billybob the name says it all . ![]()
Cheers matey. Still has about 7 weeks to go . Sprayed eco oil 5mls per litre all over and under the leaves. I’ll spray again in another 7 days and see how the plant reacts. Hoping for some really big buds off her.
I’ve used azamax before very early in flower to great effect. It’s a neem derivative I think and organic but I’m not sure really if it’s safe. I smoked it in the end and didn’t notice anything wrong but maybe some others wouldn’t.
Good luck man.
Cheers matey I used the eco oil because it said it was safe to eat fruit it was sprayed on the same day so seemed the safest pesticide to use.
If you can get your hands on them, I would strongly recommend persimilis or anystis mites. ![]()
They will get into the cracks and crevices that the mites hide in and clean them up.
Anystis is great as they hang around a long time, feed on multiple pests and also have babies quite readily.
Phytoseiulus persimilis - Predatory Mite for Spider Mite Control
Pred mites are your best bet.
You can always introduce ladybugs in the room , they will eat all the bugs
ladybugs for the win ![]()
