Spots spreading on clone leaves

It seemed liked need oil or something sprayed on it but seemed fine. I figured the spot might have been where the oil was but it’s on most of the leaves even though new growth. I trimmed all the leaves that had it but I’m thinking of tossing it.

It’s Glitterbomb from Canna Provisions in Ma so I hoped it would be clean. Any remedy?

Thank you

It looks like mite damage to me.

Check the underside of the leaves very closely. It looks like it could be thrip damage or another sucking insect.

I think it’s thrips I saw 2 worm larvae in top leaves.

I got this Amazon.com: Bonide Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew Ready-to-Use Spray, 32 oz Outdoor Insecticide and Mite Killer for Organic Gardening : Patio, Lawn & Garden hope it works

Alternate treatments with at least two different sprays, and spray according to directions for thrips. That means repeating treatment multiple times to fully eliminate.

Thrips are tiny so what looks like worm larvae may be adult thrips

its worse than the borg resistance is futile thrips i am afraid use this small plant as a learning tool. don’t scrape it read up on the link provided a metric shit tonne of info what to use and what not use and different ways to FIGHT back you thought enough of the genetics to get it in the first place i would let ol Canna Provision know they did you dirty

hmm… looks like a huge deficiency of NPK plus Ca
but by all means u can blame the pests

Really? Nitrogen, Phosphorous, AND Potassium deficiency? And a little Calcium? All of those deficiencies at once? What makes you say that?

So are you ignoring the obvious pest damage? :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

It’s just thrips damage, dont let people confuse you.
Get neem oil and a bit of dishwashing soap, warm water and mix it. Spray the underside of the leaves and then the tops…dont be stingy!
The bastards lay their eggs underneath the leaves, that’s why many people have them revisting their gardens, because they missed some of the eggs on the first go.

Repeat that a few days later again to break the cycle. They’re not that hard to get rid off.
Read up on the mix before actually doing it.

it’s thrips… 100%

don’t waste your money and time trying to kill off a thrip infestation with neem oil. You will not win that battle I’m afraid.
One thing that sucks about my natural environment here is the abundance of thrips in nature here. One thing eradicates them without any fucking around… Spinosad.
Monterey’s Garden Spray with Spinosad.
don’t waste your time and money on anything else.

Theres sucking and chewing damage with those little tiny pockmarks at the least its an aphid im going with thrip but i could be wrong the closeup on that leaf almost looks like an aphid when i look at it but its definitely an insect you would have to have cataracts to not see that.Hell even at that point you could almost read it like braille with all them spots

I’m still going with thrips. I am pretty sure I see little worms and the damage looks just like the pictures. No flyers yet thank goodness
Used a hydrogen peroxide solution for now and spray will be here tomorrow morning. Then war…
