Springtails damage

Has anybody ever had any hassle with springtails damaging plants?

No. In fact it is actually a good sign that your soil is healthy.

Springtails and rollie pollies are both good composters. They usually keep to themselves. Sometimes if the population gets out of wack I’ve seen them eat fresh plants if they do not have enough food in a no till situation.

I usually get them as well as Rollie pollies and soil mites in my compost piles during the summer that I use for worm bedding good thing to have IMO defenders of the soil, fungus gnats don’t have a chance in my pots when their around
