SSDD F2s, bx’s, and crosses

If you’re talking about the BX1’s, the mom continues to throw out new flowers and hairs the whole way. I took her just shy of 80 days and she was still doing it

Plus the A5Haze hidden in there from the outcross.

I had to go back and look at mine, lol!

If that’s what middleman is showing.

I may get one that does that a little, especially when it’s warm, but not usually

67 days on this one. Can’t find pics of some I took over 80.

First two are the bx1, the second two in the next post are F2s

Looking at some of my current and previous stuff, most seem to have no white pistils at chop. The Chem 91 s1 and Cap Junky x Chem 91 I’m currently growing are about 70 days and still have a lot of white pistils though.

You’re mostly running the F1’s tho right? My keeper is an SSDD F2. There’s a lot more variance in the F2’s. Also, I think my keeper is a Sport/outlier of the line, even though she maintains all the key things Bodhi talks about in the line, I’ve been through 100+ F1/F2 beans and I’ve not seen a single other plant like her.

The F1’s were a lot more uniform in finishing times. I also never really saw any that went 11+ weeks. Most were done in 8-9… Might’ve seen a couple that went 10 weeks.

I have found that since switching to LED’s, it seems like plants are a bit more susceptible to new white pistil growth near the end of flower if they get too close to the light or the light is too intense. Or if temperatures get too high. It happened on occasion with my old HPS lights too, but not as easily as with the LED’s, at least in my experience (but I’ve only been using LED’s for a couple years now vs. 15+yrs with HID).

Edit - obviously some strains also just do it naturally

Yes, F1’s. I’ve run my F2’s and F3’s also… but probably half of your number. I rarely see any that go less than 10 weeks. I’m not sure if it’s from being F1’s (in this case), or from cultural things specific to my equipment, and the way I grow.

The one I’m keeping now, is because of her effects. She has nothing to do with B’s descriptions, at least as far as my experiences, except for the nerve pain thing. While all the phenos have diminished the pain, none have been like this one… at least for me

I just find the differences very interesting.

These are the Triple Sunshine (A) x SSDD (#1 and #2) that I’m making seeds with. I chopped the male (#2) today.

There is also two small clones of the SSDD F2 bx1 (#8 and #9) in there for a few seeds of that cross.

That’s a nice looking male!

Last two chopped today.

SSDD F2 #7:

Similar smells to the #4 (chemical cleaner, gassy) but not in your face like #4. Nothing sweet.

And last, but not least, Triple Sunshine (A) x SSDD:

Nothing strong or obvious to me from her. Maybe a cologne or perfume type smell, but one with only the faintest bit of sweetness. Not bad, just not very strong.
This is the same TS x SSDD I’m making seeds with

Few more pics of her buds:

Thanks @Tappy
I couldn’t even begin to guess. I’ve only ever weighed a harvest once. Maybe I should so I can work on improvement.

I hear ya…I do a staggered harvest and usually start smoking before the last plant comes down…lol

Follow up picture of the TS(A) x SSDD increase:

And the two SSDD F2 bx1 that were also pollinated:

The plants are wet because I just showered them to activate and disable any remaining pollen.

Can’t wait to hear some smoke reports!
