starting seeds in a clone machine

Once seeds open under moist paper towels, can they be placed in a clone machine until roots develop?

what you mean about a clone machine ? a dome ? a controled humidity and temperature machine ? seddlelings need high humidity

Virga, I believe they are those cloners with a lid “same style as the dome”, because it is a newly germinated seed, do you agree that some kind of soil will be needed for it? Whether inert or organic

Hey, Thanks for the quick reply, Yes a dome with bubbler and openings for cups or neoprene holders for actual cuttings which works fantastic! I was going to place seeds in a rapid rooter then into small basket-cups so they don’t dry out?

Thanks guys, I only intend to leave in a week or so? Hopefully roots develop like the actual clones, I need to start some new kinds.

Can you post a picture of the equipment, please? So, you can try and tell us

Seems like it’d work. Good luck :+1:t6:

for sure, thats the way… but dont let the soil to moist, i’ve already lost some young plants because it was too humid, and mold formed around the seedling

GJ at all, @Virga get an important point, the humidity can’t be extremely high for a long time, I believe your dome has some “windows” to leave open, so it gets moist but not excessively stuffy.

Got it! Thanks for the help :vulcan_salute:
