Then the coin flip and washer is a great way to go. If sending in large numbers I use a DVD case but I send all my giveaways out in simple greeting cards. I use 3D printed seed pucks but have sent hundreds of coin filps washout issue.

I’ve sent countless coin flips/ hose washer seeds internationally from New Zealand and they all landed safely.:+1:

Pucks are the best because they’re the most durable. I like putting them in index cards/a card. The biggest issue with sending is usps workers. Some will open it looking to steal/drop it off at the wrong place. If one is noisy and finds seeds they will smash it with a hammer/stomp on it then have it go through or dispose of if.I believe requesting a signature is the best safest bet. If one missed it they can fill out the slip/fall the post office at opening and they will deliver it that day if possible. I have had it happen to me with seeds sitting at the post office for days, unopened and sound safe🙂

I had to go retrieve my last order in person after they claimed my address was non deliverable , it took them about 15 minutes to find it on my second visit , the first time they claimed it was lost in the system.
I have a mail box they put mail in it all the time but for that letter they claimed I was a closed business , they just put what ever bs they wan in the system to excuse missing deliveries.
I told them I was sitting on my porch at the time they claim to have attempted delivery and they just smiled like they know it’s bs and don’t care.
I get other peoples mail pretty frequently and return it to them but I bet a lot of people just throw it out not caring who it might effect.

Exactly, I’ve lost complete trust in usps. I have lost over 100 seeds in the mail, had my letters smashed with a hammer/stomped on and ripped open.

Ive sent out of US and recieved a bunch from outside us.

Rubber hose washers work, use clear tape on both side so the seeds stick and dont rattle around.

If you have access to a 3d printer, theres a bunch of free seed pucks on sites like thangs, thingiverse, ect. Also use tape on pucks so they dont spill out when you open them.
A good puck can fit 10+ seeds easily.

Send in a small 4x5 “thankyou” style card not the bigger ones, people might think its a birthday card and rip it open.

USPS has a 1/4" rule on letters.
If its thicker than 0.25 inch they might destroy it accidently going through the “rollers” inside the sorting machines. If its thin, and can flex through the rollers it will be fine.

Iff its too thick, and not destroyed, they will tell you to come in and pay the price of a “package” since the letter is too big to fall into a letter price range. Like 5-6 bucks.

Add packing tape around the edges of the envelope to prevent tearing. DONOT COVER THE STAMP WITH TAPE, it cant be read by the machine and will void the value of the stamp.

Ive never requested a signature for delivery/pickup.

Only use USPS, never UPS or FEDEX.

100% success rate all over the world:

The USPS is maybe the slowest I’ve encountered in developed countries. But sometimes they surprise me.
