Hi guys,
Finally an update of the GDP.
They’re doing fine. They’re done with their stretch and really want to flower now.
Tomorrow I’ll take the biggest leaves out to give the buds more light.

GDP

Of the three guys I culled one today which was a hermaphrodite, the other two look good so far.

Unfortunately I struggled keeping the male GDP clones from not flowering, even under 24h of light they wanted to take off.
I tossed them as I also ran out of space at the same time.
Looking at my female clones today, I think it might happen to them too, but it could just be paranoia now and it’s just the usual preflowers I’m seeing. I’ll keep an eye on it for a while.

Indoors I fucked up and pay the price for it now.
Only very mall buds, but at least they are smelling really nice. But I’d say not even half a harvest…shame on me

Pink fresca

This ogkush lemonlarry is a weird plant. I expected something tall with big internodes and they grow like a cabbage.
Absolute pain in the arse growth-wise.
But they are solid buds, the whole arm is just bud and it actually does have a bit of those smells I was after but I just can’t grow ot if it grows like that.
They got mold written all over it, even though I can’t see any yet…on a high humidity period they won’t have a good time I suspect.

It def looks like a genetic anomoly. I found catepillars munching along the long edge of a leaflet. Not chewing off the tip.
Healthy lush growth that’s for sure.

The new growth doesn’t show that any longer. It’s weird somehow.
It might have just been a caterpillar,but I couldn’t find one.

Upon getting shoulder deep in them, for defol, a couple times now, there was one of ours throwing the same “segment nulled” situation on a few fan leaves, just after showing pre-flower. I just did another major defol and didn’t notice anymore this round, same as you’re saying, also. I’d chalk it up to genetic quirk, too.
I didn’t get a picture of the very few that exhibited it, so it’s face value, but for what it’s worth, I wouldn’t tear yourself up on an IPM over haul unless you were planning one anyway.

Another busy week went by and I finally got a minute to update what’s been happening.

I’ve had to harvest my shitty last grow.
The quality is there but the quantity is disappointing.
It’s pretty much all drying in the cannatrol except the ogkush lemonlarry.
Trichome picture say another week,which is a good thing as the troll is filled already.

Here are a few pics of the pinky sour rs, pink fresca and plum paradise clones before harvest, I probably could have gotten three times as much if done properly

Outdoors the GDP are doing their thing, no dramas so far,except they drink a lot and because I didn’t up-pot the wind can blow them over when they need water.
I’ve kept spraying neem and zero tolerance and haven’t found any pests so far.

Here are the girls, the one which wasn’t beheaded is the one that doesn’t perform as good as the rest. Interesting to see…I’ll behead it’s clone and watch the difference when it’s time comes.

They showing plenty of bud sites already.
Looks very promising at this point.

And here are the two remaining GDP guy’s which so far don’t show any female bits…yay

They’re dropping pollen by now, underneath I put a clone of ogkush lemonlarry which I just couldn’t throw away.
I’ve got two more of those and I’m thinking of just sacrificing them all for seeds
If the offspring has a better stretch than the ogkll, it could create something nice.

The indoor harvest is in the trol…

…and I already rinsed my coco and reloaded the 15l pots with two clones each.
Straight into the old rootball from last run,just with a double dose of enzymes.
They’re under 12/12 since yesterday.

I got rid of the plum paradise and only have pinky sour rs pheno #4 & #5 and one pot with 2 clones of the pink fresca.

This time they’ll be getting canna coco a+b , rhizotonic, enzymes, canna boost, drip clean and MKP.
Their total EC is 1.5 (0.2 from tab) and they’ll get ph’ed to 5.6 - 6.2.

I hope to have a better run this time!

Hung the laundry out today…

Washing the harvest leftovers gave me roughly 20g of hash out of my frozen wet trim.

I’m still struggling to wash the chlorophyll out better and i already waste a lot of time and water on it.
I think it’s due to me reusing the dirty water over and over. But I don’t want to buy more ice than I already do…sigh

The batch of the pinky sour rs leaves turned it into a purple brew, it smells amazing.
I think I might make gummies again over the weekend. Till then the hash dries in the fridge.

Your absolutely right, I just talked to my mates which make awesome hash, they said the same thing. My mistake was thinking I needed the friction of the ice cubes in the machine. And all I needed was temps below 3⁰C and not much ice at all. Duh

Luckily I wasn’t planning on smoking the hash.
I’ll make gummies out of it. The discoloration won’t be a problem this time.
But I wouldn’t mind keeping a nice looking piece in the future.

if your machine has low and high settings use low,it is even better to wash fresh frozen by hand.there can be also a difference between strains.

The granddaddy purple are doing alright outside.
I think they might have copped a little bit of pollen. I’ll find out soon.

I could not find any sign of hermaphrodism on them. I hope it’ll stay like that. I’ll will pollinated the lower buds ASAP.
I’m playing with the thought of just putting them in between the males as they are.
But I want to smoke it to see if I like it

While I’m here…it’s time for an update, a bit overdue tbh,but I just harvested…we all know what that means

The GDP males didn’t herm on me, but I’m not sure if the pollen is potent. I’ve pollinated some buds 3 days ago and it doesn’t look like anything is happening.
(Thinking out loud…) should I just put them completely next to the males, but then I can’t smoke it and it’s hard to judge if I like it or not.
I think I just pollinate a second time.
If that doesnt work,nothing would…

The PF already started flowering and the Ps RS are about to.

The gummies cured nicely and took on their real colors, the nuclear green surprised me to start with,but now it looks like Waldmeister again

I almost forgot, this pinky sour rs is almost ready for the chop. I think I’ll give her enough time to turn the trichomes to 50% amber

We have some family in NZ and next visit long overdue… but it will take years for the next ride… hope so… need to grow 24/365 xD
