Gotcha. I don’t use it/follow the story that closely, but I’ve never heard of any significant competitor. Definitely sounds like they have some things to improve on, but the internet is a-changing, a lot of places are struggling with the balance between moderation/cost and users.
You could always advertise yourself. Not all platforms will advertise/advertise for vendors
