Talking of Hippy Oil, I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time as GLG put up 1 pack up Wednesday.

I’ve a couple of the freebie HPK x 70’S Bag Seed in veg at the moment. The nose on them is so loud and enticing its unreal. Thick stem’s, large fans, tall plants. Took cuts / clones the other day and will probably keep females and males.

I really should have bought them when they dropped. I had 6 germinate out of the pack of traditionals I grabbed, and the ones that failed were likely my fault with accidentally over saturating them. Just have to hope that I have a male in there so I can produce more. I’ll likely be giving away some seeds if I’m successful.

Conclusion I’ve come to over the years. Its better to regret buying a pack of seeds rather than not buying them. You can always sell / trade seeds on. The only kicker for me buying a single pack is the international shipping is almost the cost of a pack of seeds.

Sorry to hear about your loss mate with the regs, hope you find a male in the seeds left.

Thought I’d leave this here as I knew nothing about the U of W Black HP stray used for the pine tar hashplant, from pagoda seeds “I know a bit about the UW cut, I knew the grower family that got it smuggled out of the UW. I almost bought the hippy oil but I ended up going for durban thai highflyer because i was worried hippy oil would be too smelly. I usually do really good with odor control but 9/10 times its the skunky/chem strains that make the neighbors complain. Kinda regret it seeing how they sold out lol

Any idea if that skunk competition ever happened with Strayfox? Not sure if he got enough interest. Curious of which strain he was excited about.

Yes it did. It’s been going on for multiple years. I can’t find the instagram post, but stray was talking in the comments about how he had the stinkiest stuff and knocked everybody out of the water… look out for more announcements about it on MOGseeds and Great Lakes genetics instagram they seem to post about it more than strayfox.

I think it was strays carbon killerz that won him the third overall and won the skunk section. Hope to be there next year

Edit: from a mogseeds instagram post comments stray said “no one showed up for the show n tell skunk games! lol. I didn’t have anything to enter, other than a few tops I chopped at 5 weeks. I brought those just to sample and smell!!! Still had fun. Good people”

If I find the other instagram post I was thinking of I’ll report back, could’ve been misremembering

What up guys in getting my seeds lined up for next run, so I can hit the the ground running… Ideally around Christmas. I want to get these guys started so once the hit my grow tent I can flip to flower shortly there after.
These are the choices, not all Strayfox but he is included. I tried posting in my grow thread but got all of 1 reply. Not sure if there a specific thread for suggestions/opinions on “What should I grow next” but here goes. The only response got said to go with the Tom Hill haze x Skunk n Honey . So I will be starting those… Any opinions on other things from this list…

And @PatHealy . Has there been any OG preservations done on the Madre Azul.?..?.?

The Swamp gas bx is probably the oldest pack in this group I’d assume. I’m growing for the first time something with Triangle in it, Strays Gatito Especial. It’s like week 5 of flower I think and been really smooth grow so far.

I have no clue about that. I did a quick search and didn’t see any seed run of the Madre Azul.

Definitely no preservations of Madre Azul. Aside from the 1 female I had, I’ve only seen them grown by syzurgy and he scrapped them due to one or two herming if I remember right. I had a couple lower nanners, but that grow in general had issues with most plants. It was excellent pot and I want to grow more soon - I think the OMG male brings a really cool high… or madre azul does… very nice creeper that keeps climbing.

Can anyone confirm what Skunk n Honey is.?.?.? I read the description on GLG but I’m bit confused about the mother of Skunk n Honey . Here’s a reference pic… I guess it’s saying its RK Stray which is (Michigan Skunk x A1 Afghan f3) crossed to a male Angels milk (Bodhi). Or is it A11 as in Apollo 11.?.?.?
