So William’s Wonder has always been my favorite strain. Since the 90’s when I started smoking it was always top notch. So to have some of the original genetics for this strain is special for me. I grew AKBB’s William’s Wonder increased from original SSSC seeds. So special to me to have that opportunity.
I didn’t discover that Strayfox was offering seeds of a cross of two old cuts of WW until they were already sold out. He recently released another version of those seeds that he selected for heavier frosty, stinky buds, with hazey skunky aromas and very little citrus.
I snatched up those seeds without even thinking twice, but I’m much more interested in the first version Strayfox released. I’ve reached out to him to see about getting some, and scoured the internet for them. But I can’t find any.
So I’m asking around on the forums. Did anyone get Strayfox’s first version of this? Does anyone have it, but not have time to run it? Maybe you ran it and didn’t care for it? Did anyone get it and do a seed increase with it? Basically, this is my last ditch effort to track these seeds down. If they were available for sell anywhere I buy them right now. This is kinda like a holy grail strain for me. Anybody wanting to get rid of these seeds I’m your guy. You got 'em and don’t have time for 'em, or have extra, or aren’t interested in them anymore, or made a bunch of seed from them. Hit me up. Let’s make a deal. I’d be grateful as hell.
I don’t want them for free or anything like that, but I have been reduced to begging like this because these seeds just ain’t for sell anymore. Lame!

Hey Gents… if you make a deal and do a seed increase I am definitely interested in trading for some seeds. I have never tried WW but I have read so much about how it was a great strain but unavailable (the original). I would like the genetics for future hybrids.

From what I can tell the difference between the two is the first one used the WW Casey cut as the father and the new one uses a S1 of the Casey cut as the father. Am I reading that right?
I think he means that the pollen donor is from his first reversal project which I would call an r1 instead of an s1. “I took the first reversal project and ran with it until I found something a little more special than the first.” It’s not super clear.
I actually have no idea. I’m not sure if there’s a correct way to read the lineage or not, but since the description reads that there’s way more Wilfred Cut traits this time than last time I would think the skunky hazy that was mixed in was probably from a skunky hazy Wilfred cut. Could be wrong.
I sure wish they were regs. I almost bought them for seed run and trade/auction options. I am trying really hard to not personally use sts. Great purchase though.
Yeah it’s F4. I love AKBB’s whole lineup. I grew AKBB’s Willie’s last year, just finished curing it. I love it! How was yours? My 1 plant smelled 100% like Grape Kool Aid.
I have more seeds than sense. I want to run the Williams Wonder is on the docket for summer 26. I would love to get to it sooner than that but life is not cooperating, so business as usual.
