Hello all,

I am attempting to grow outdoors at 53.5N in climate zone 8a.

Genetics are Frisian Dew, Durban Poison, Think Fast by Dutch Passion. All these seeds are recommended by the seller for outdoor growing in northern climates. I also germinated a seed “Bruce Lemon Diesel” which is not recommended for outdoor but was given to me as a free seed.

The weather here is warm and sunny today, plants were germinated rather late (end of May).

Plants are now around 2m high by 1m diameter.

“Think Fast” is starting to develop budlets, the other plants haven’t started flowering yet.

I will have to harvest by October 20th as I will be traveling afterwards.

I know our weather here in October and there would not be much point in waiting any longer in the wet and cold anyway.

So, sadly there is hardly a chance of success. I plan on freezing the buds and make ice water hash from then later.

Does anyone grow at about my latitude? What is your experience? At what time of year did your plants develop their first budlets?

@Fensheath where you from you dont have to say exactly just an approximate area so we can try to find someone who may have similar issues

Sounds like they are late season cultivars… if they ain’t budding yet October 20 is really pushing it and I doubt they will finish if they aren’t pre flowering as of yet :peace_symbol:
