You can super crop it instead of just removing it. Not sure if super crop is the right term, but snap that main cola down and it will be even with the rest.
looking frosty on those photoperiods!

Yup, supercropping is your friend.
Just bend er on over!
@Oozle Supercropping. Of course That was a stoner moment
haha, we’ve all been there.
It's been a few weeks since my last update and time has come to harvest Snoop and the Wiz. I cut both down today after 11 weeks of flowering. They'll hang to dry for the next week or so.
The Khalifa Kush ended up being a pretty small plant (we had issues early on) but she’s a pretty little thing nonetheless - I just wish I grew her to scale Buds are very small but rock hard and sticky.
Several weeks since my last update and lots has happened.
Both plants suffered a deficiency, with yellowing leaves and spotting. The taller plant was pretty badly afflicted. I thought perhaps it was a PH issue but runoff was in normal range. Both plants had only been fed lightly up to that point, so I started more regular feedings and both have recovered and are bulking up. Two or three more weeks til harvest I think.
I have a hard time believing both of these plants are the same strain. The plant with the red buds is much more akin to the Red Poison I’ve grown in the past. I haven’t seen ‘red’ expressions of any sort of kush. Perhaps a mix up in the seed packing department? Interesting plant, nonetheless.
Getting the itch to get some bubbles in my buckets again so plans are afoot for another DWC run. Just popping some fresh beans.
Thanks for tuning in
big difference in the strain, pretty cool looking. What do you have planned for your DWC run?
I am starting my DWC run soon too, I like DWC more than soil.
Looks like you got some foxtails.
I think your light is to close or to strong.
Meh, you’re so close to finish…it shouldn’t matter.
Thanks! I haven’t taken a light reading in a while and you are indeed correct. Lights were running a little too strong. This run has been a bit of mess. I’m looking forward to finishing up and starting fresh.
I was offered another selection of seeds from OSS after my last run, so I’m doing a couple of their autos and photoperiods. I really loved the Alien Moonrocks and Apple Fritter I grew from their lineup last time. This time around it’ll be:
Nice list. I look forward to seeing your grows!
Both of these plants are supposedly, Pink Bubba, but clearly one of these things is not like the other.
The plant with the the red buds is very, very similar to the Red Poison I’ve grown in the past and I’m at a loss as to what other strain it might be - I know it aint Pink Bubba. If anyone has any thoughts, I’d be keen to hear them.
This grow was problematic with both plants experiencing some sort of deficiency along the way; more so the Pink Bubba. She lost a lot of fan leaves and was over lit. Consequently, a lot of fox tailing and light, airy buds.
The harvest for both plants was modest: the red plant netted 56 grams of dried bud while the Pink Bubba weighed in at 95 grams.
The Pink Bubba is a nice smoke. The cherry-lavender undertones are really enjoyable.
Big red is not a bad smoke, with a subtle berry flavour and a hint of shoe polish.
I’m done playing in the dirt for a while. My DWC buckets are calling.
I’m excited to have the DWC buckets bubbling again and this time I’m running a few more strains from Original Sensible Seeds, including:
All three plants are growing well and have just finished their second week of veg. The plan is a 4-5 week veg cycle for the two photoperiods and for all plants to be FIMed; likely within the next few days.
I’m feeding them REMO nutes: Grow, Micro, and Magnifical at this point.
The Jealousy and Pink Rozay will be growing in my 40x40 tent under a SpiderFarmer SF4000 LED light and the Jungle Lava will be growing in my 36x36 tent under two Mars Hydro TS1000s.
Away we go! Thanks for tuning in
That’s an interesting combo.
They were both from the same pack? My guess is it’s the other parent. It’s possible the line isn’t as worked as it should be, but hard to come to conclusions with 2 plants.
The roots look good! Good luck on this run.
No big diet changes. I changed their rezs earlier in the week and they’ve had a couple of top-ups since, drinking about 1 to 1.5 litres/day at this point.
So far so good. We’ll flip the lights to flower in the next week most likely.
Thanks for tuning in
The Jungle Lava Auto is thriving. She’s responded really well to the FIM her and light defoliation I gave her earlier in the week and she’s bounced back with a beautiful round shape since.
No big diet changes. I changed her rez earlier in the week and she’s had a couple of top-ups since. She’s been hungry and thirsty; drinking about 1.5 litres/day at this point.
So far so good.
I’ve also added a Cherry Alien seedling into the tent. I had some issues with the first seedling I germinated and had to reboot but everything is good to go now. This is another offering for Original Sensible Seeds that I’m quite keen to try as the Alien Moonrocks I grew a while ago was the bomb.

You’re probably right. It’s definitely an interesting smoke. A subtle berry flavour and less shoe polishy now, and very smooth.
Just finished week 4 of veg for the Pink Rozay and Jealousy. Both plants are continuing to grow well. The Pink Rozay is about 13" tall and the Jealousy is at 11".
Lights were just flipped to 12/12 two days ago and rez’s were changed with a mix featuring Remo Micro, Magnifical, Bloom, and Astroflower (about 6 ml./gal of each).
Bring on the flowers!
The Jungle Lava auto has exploded in the past week and is fully in flower after 3 weeks vegging. She’s well into her stretch after only one week and is already standing at 19” tall. I don’t think I’ve grown an auto quite this enthusiastic.
She responded really well to the FIM and has a fantastic round shape. I’ll clean her up after the stretch finishes in a few weeks.
Rez change today with a cocktail featuring Remo nutes. She’s pretty hungry, drinking almost 2.5 litres/day.
I’m enjoying watching this baby grow!
The Cherry Alien is growing well. Roots have broken through the net pot and she’s starting to size up.
Rez change likely in a few days. She’s just started sipping on her drink (a concoction of Remo nutes), so no rush.
She’ll get a FIM in the next week or so before she goes into flower.
Thanks for tuning in
Your making me jealousy I killed my DWC plants… sorry had to do the pun.
so much growth. looks great.
You’re forgiven for the pun.
I saw you had to kill off your DWC plants. I was sorry to see that 🥲 I look forward to the day your coolers bubble again.
Nearing the end of week 6, and the third week of flower, for the Jungle Lava and she’s really taken off.
I pruned several branches about a week ago and did some super cropping a few days following that as she was really taking over the entire tent. She’s about 39" tall now and is really full. Further pruning will be required in the near future.
As I’ve seen far too often with my grows, the dreaded spotting is starting to appear on the leaves. PH has been consistently between 6.0-6.2 and she’s feeding well, showing no signs of lockout. EC has been running 1.2 - 1.3 range (600-650 ppm). Could this truly be a calcium deficiency? Should I feed more? (I’m feeding about 7.5 ml/gallon of Remo Magnifical) Any thoughts on this are appreciated.
Despite the Cherry Alien living in the shadows, she’s growing well and has just entered flower. Hopefully, she can find some room to grow while she goes through her stretch. Things are tight
