Disco tent dance party
What kind of fixtured @G-paS .
Leds strobing ia a bad driver. A few years back one of my led foxtures started the diaco bs and it turned out the driver got cooked from a power surgw in my home.
I didnt know until later that week that the neutral to our house was damaged so it would suddenly send 220v where it’s only 110v!!!
So when a driver exploded after i turned on a vaccum in the same circuit I did some sleuthing and discivered the issue so i called the city and they had to emergency dig.

I thought all LED ballast converted to DC?
Rando art moment: All light is a flicker. A buddy of mine removed the shutter from a super 8mm camera which basically removes any ability for individual frames so it’s just a blur if played back in motion but if you looked at the film strip on alight box you see the “pulse” of this flicker.
He did a series where he shot a bunch of light sources at 24fps with the modded camera and the film strips were mounted on a light box resulting in seeing the different variations of light emitting “pulses”.
You could could the frames from brightest point to dimmest back to brightest and this would relate to the frequency of the the light source.
A lot a seriously cool nerd stuff going on in a very pretty 24" x 18" light box mounted on a wall in a gallery.

And this is what we have for our
because his frame rate is much higher than ours.

i wonder if there is a sweet spot to get the frequency at
A photon could be anywhere until it is observed ![]()
This may be the issue. I messed up two. It did throw the breaker even though on a surge protector that should have popped first.
I don’t want to try ![]()
Me to. They like the same wave lenghts.
@G-paS my light at the time was a Mars Hydro that allowed me to plug in the ballast.
I used the ballasted from my other matching light to see if the led board was fine and it was. I then plugged in the ballast that was questionable back into the led board that just showed was totally fine with a different ballast and it was disco all over again.
No tools needed, just testing fuckery with not fuckery and a replacement ballast later I was up and running.
I thought I had posted I was starting on the 4th test but, don’t see it.
I chose to add the germination bomb this time.
These are 5 of the last 10 from @Weednerd.Anthony
These are being soaked in H2O2 for 1/2 hour to kill germs
The pointed end was nipped.
They were the put in the bomb. It said 36 hours. They were still hard so did 48.
They were still hard so, I washed the seeds in distilled water and then in paper towel.
After 48 hours I had this.
!After another 24 I had this.
This is what I got on these first five from the 10.
I have my fingers cross but not getting to excited yet.
Edit: those roots look long but one it 1/4" and the other almost 1/2"
I am! I haven’t been this excited for a co-op run in awhile. It looks like you’re starting to get some decent numbers, so hopefully there’s a good m/f ratio
Those tap roots says it all. I like to grow the tap roots long like that then plant them leaving the seed poking out the soil it’s usually a success after that. Great job and good luck @G-paS excited for this one as everyone else.
So, the one 2nd from the end with the U shape didn’t make it.
The where put in the rooter soaked in ful-power like all others in rooters.
Two where an inch tall in 12 hours. On was 1/2" and two were 1.5".
48 hours after putting in rooter I had this.
I looked at 36 yours they were even taller before going to bed. This morning I found this.
Close to 4".
I took them to put in cups buried to 1" tall. I had to do this with the others I used DNSO on.
The two were doubled over just caring them to the basement to put in the cups. This is something to watch using DMSO. The two that folded I have my fingers crossed on.
The other three I got to get to seedlings are kind of weak but I am hopping. The ones from the run for the grower where much stranger but the germ rate was a lot worse even.
I am starting the last 5 doing the same but hit them with the sanding tube first.

Oh man that’s awesome !! Nice work !
How do you snip the ends ? A nail clipper ?
I’ve never tried that, but I’m going to now ![]()
Very happy for you ![]()
It was hard. I sent one flying and spent a 1/2 hour looking. I was looking for the craker from @Bobgrows but couldn’t. I just pinched between finger and tipping down on cutting board. I need a better way.
Clean roach clips work well for holding small things
Vice Grips, slowy turn the tightener, plyers if you’ve got the touch…
