I just started some seeds from a feminized hybrid of Triangle Kush x reversed Hollywood Pure Kush.
@shamus you mentioned you have grown the HPK, is there anything I should be looking out for to spot phenos that carry some HPK infuence?
What would you look for in a keeper pheno from this hybrid?
@Heritagefarms have you grown the triangle? what did you think of that compared to the cuts that were circulated in California like tahoe, platinum, sfv, etc?
It has been years since I have grown feminized seed. should I be worried about stability?
I was planning to include these plants alongside an important preservation breeding project to make some additional hybrids, so I don’t want to take any risk if these might herm.

Ran them all with undeniable provenance
At this point I can count the OG’s I haven’t ran on one hand
Triangle is a great cut, not huge yielding, more kushy then OG if that makes sense to you. Still an Og tho
SFV is a great all around cut unfortunately swerve selling seeds as SFV really fucked the legitimacy of cuts most get leading them to think it’s sun par
Platinum is meh
Tahoe is great I’d say it’s a top 5 right there with triangle and HPK

Deadhead OG was good, that was a hybrid of sfv and chem. Really nice forest floor moss and soil smell. In my outdoor grow the pistils used to turn pink.
I think the high from the platinum was less nuanced and more knockout. I grew it for a while in a greenhouse. Not the best OG but it had good medicinal value, and was good for making concentrates. Small dense buds, good calyx to leaf ratio. Classic 3 blade leaves.
It also had that og trait of producing a ton of resin on the underside of the guard leaves.
I would love to find a seed line that expresses that trait.

I’m pretty sure the triangle I had was not legit so I killed her after one run. I know somebody with a legit verified triangle but don’t trust the mail so I’m missing out on her and the sunset sherbet he has 
I’ve grown a lot of og cuts over the years and the ones I keep and continue to grow are the original that came from Florida and the ghost.
The ghost is not the best yielding plant but has a nice uplifting trippy head high and great flavor, the original has a different more kushy then sour flavor, no lemon and a very narcotic your day is going to feel more difficult high.

Exactly. The Platinum OG was the one that worked best for that particular greenhouse grow, and very medicinal for migraines and pain relief.

I feel ya , I’ve definitely heard some people sound unsure if they believe it all and everybody involved has something to say that seems to fit together but also at times contradict or conflict with other aspects of what is told. It’s amazing how much attention some people in the cannabis community get or have gotten while others go unnoticed by the masses. The true old school breeders that did the work when it was dangerous and super illegal dident make a habit of documenting things and those who knew them dident talk. A lot of peoples connects told tall tales in regards to where it came from to avoid people knowing they were the grower

Yeah I can get the chems in Southern California and the triangle and sunset from another place but I haven’t seen the Tahoe or master in some time and the la confidential I could only ever get from one person who lost his mind and moved to Hawaii and I haven’t seen or heard much about her sense.
I have Tahoe og beans from master Thai but that’s a whole different subject and line supposedly and I promised not to give the line out if I ran and made more for myself even though he let plenty of packs out to people who probably won’t keep that mindset, also sitting on some of his uncle fester beans and ATF as are a few other members here. Master Thai Tahoe og is very similar in relation and genetics to the blue orca plant that boel made popular and swami holds onto for dear life. I know boel members who don’t even hold that line anymore but still have Mexican gold lines and hazes.
