Now that I’ve taken a break from growing not by choice I’ve started selling beans ingot to homies or letting them runs big hunts of stuff I’ve made.

This was grown in a large grow using pseudo organics like I run.

as far as buying seeds these aren’t avail anywhere the

I appreciate it tho thank you

Just working on finding the next bug thing from my work

I have a grow set up it’ll mostly be used for making more stuff not as much a production room but it’s gonna be a lot of fun.

Finally gonna get to start my melon project

That keeper above will make a good addition to the melon. Watermelon Zkittlez thin mint

I’m not sure how to properly quote the text on here lol but you said a few months ago on here that the Hollywood, Malibu, and topanga PK are all different. Do you know if the suge was also a whole different cut or if it was another name for one of those?

Do you know Alan and George from Mendo?

They made the strain that they sold turkey bags of to Berner and thats how Berner et al got “Cookies”

F-cut was termed that by Time2Unite. He got a cut from Dusty or dankiestog i believe. T2U figured everyone on the interwebs would call it fake. So he then termed it the Fake cut or F-cut for short. Shes been around for a long time. Im about to give her a run myself. Supposedly very similar to loompas hb cut"

@blis84 The Pure Kush I use is the Pure OG Kush my boy Elkslayer acquired out of Orange County back in 2005. Most likely an OG Kush S1 selection if I had to guess.

I have the Suge PK too…but don’t breed with it out of respect to certain parties. The Suge IMHO is a Bubba Kush hybrid."

Would you post pictures of your runs of the Suge? I have many pictures of the cut I run from 3+ growers. Maybe we can compare and reach a conclusion, instead of adding to the convoluted nature of the Pure Kush cuts.
I’ve come across a picture Caleb posted, but he added an asterisk to it, suggesting it might be an S1.

So is Suge a rename or sister to Bubba Kush?

As far as I’ve heard it’s a bubba og hybrid

Makes sense - they have the same bracts in the top bud that point upward and inward.
GDP does the same.

Thanks.

Not trying to call anyone out or anything, but are we sure about this being the Suge cut? @grief mentioned that quote above earlier in the thread, and that cut doesn’t seem to purple very much. Def not like most of the other pics of Suge PK I’ve seen in late flower. This one also seems to lack the BLD fan leaves that I’ve seen from other SPK grows. Are we sure this isn’t the non-Suge LAPK?

What a great thread. Had a few of these over the years but there’s so many I wanted I never obtained. Even got taken on a few trades for some :man_facepalming:t2: I am a die hard Kush head, always have been since my introduction to OG and Bubba in the 90’s and both have been staples since, I lost the pre-98 , the ghost and headband some time ago and am still trying to replace. In fact I’ve decided recently to clear out everything and start fresh. (Although the cuts/moms are still close by) I plan on dedicating the next couple of years to rebuilding my stable with only tried, true and hopefully verified old school genetics . Never been one for the hype or any of this fruity zaza crap, gimme the funk, the dank the stuff that coats your mouth and just makes every moment of blazing like absolute heaven, then lasts for hours, not 20-30 mins of glowing etc. I’ve been growing appx. 20 years and was blessed to have a great teacher who was and still is obsessed with OG and Sourrrr. So I’ve always had an affinity for Sour D, OG’s , BUBBA , Triangle, TW, HB etc. and then skunks, but the real skunks not this watered down crap that’s all I seem to be able to get my hands on recently. And dukes gear is impossible to get in Canada so I’ve almost given up on skunks recently, except the UFS which I still believe holds absolute fire but needs a few proper hunts of the old MT stock some of us have acquired. The one OG I really really miss and can never get out of my head is the HAOG. God I loved blazing that, that and Chem-D along with bubba and I’d be fine on my desert island. Sorry for the ramble just got excited reading through this thread in its entirety and gave up every like I had today as well. Much respect 🫡

I am in total agreement with you @TopShelfTrees1 . When I shut down 11 years ago I just didn’t realize how much I was going to miss growing and the strains that I had. I first shut down in FL to move to New Mexico took rooted cutting cuttings in peat pucks and packed them in a cooler and they went within in the passenger seat of a uhaul across the US. Good times
Started up again in NM but didn’t last long and had to shut down for good as I went to work on wind turbines. Had to say good bye to Sour D Nd Chem D some fine DJ Blueberry, Trainwreck and a few I am forgetting. Not going t o lie it brought tears to my eyes.

So like you this year I have the chance to get back in the grow life. And will hopefully be able to get some of those wonderful genetics back. I go into the dispo here and they have all these as you say “fruity Zaza crap”. Not into that stuff at all. Good luck on your quest I hope you find what your looking for. And if I happen to obtain anything I will hit you up

I got a pack of bodhi’s uplift hell’s angels OG x snow lotus, hoping to relive that awesome high and flavor.

The only OG that I don’t like is the triangle, and it’s sister the irene. Maybe it’s just because I liked what I used to get in the bay area, (OG, Tahoe, Truckee, Platinum, fire, diablo, etc).

But the triangle and irene are just too sweet smelling and tasting. It makes me feel like they are watered down in comparison to the classic california OG’s that were so popular 10+ years ago. I like the dank, fuely, and earthy OG’s, not the ones that smell like perfume or fruit loops.

This may be a controversial opinion, but after growing several cuts, and hybrids like archive’s rudeboi (irene x [triangle x ghost]) and hollywood pure kush x triangle, they all come out sweet like fruit loops. It just doesn’t hit the spot for me.

To my nose, even the milder smelling og’s from california were no sweeter smelling than like bread dough, or old fashioned men’s cologne.
Nothing candy or perfume sweet like the rudeboi, irene, and triangle.

And don’t get me wrong the triangle is potent, I’m hitting hollywood x triangle hash right now. But it’s so sweet, like any common hype strain og x cookies or skittles type hybrids.

A lot of things with cannabis are all very subjective and to each their own, but my Irene OG cut doesn’t have anything sweet or candy about it at all haha. All OG with a diesel kick to it. It is fucking incredible really.

And I have never heard that Irene was related to or “sisters” with Triangle Kush. I definitely do not claim to know it all about anything though, so I would love a source for that information, if only to learn more in that regard. I wouldn’t say that there is too much sweet about TK either. Definitely no fruit loops in either of them, at least from my perception.

I am pretty sure that Archive’s Rudeboi is Irene x (Face Off Bc1), named after Grohard AKA Rudeboi who was the source for Irene.

I found a Face Off IX cut from seed from Archive’s packs and there isn’t any sweet in there either. Really spicy, earthy, woody, nutty… I could go on and on haha. Just really classic OG. I could almost guarantee that most people haven’t seen or grown a cut like my Face Off IX. She grows like a vine and only puts out 1 and 3 leaflets. She stays covered in trichomes in veg and every node has a fat fucking bract in veg. It is a beautifully odd specimen. Well now I am off on a tangent about my Face Off IX cut haha.

Anyway, again, I totally respect your word and a lot of aspects of cannabis are really subjective, but your experience and mine with Irene and Triangle Kush couldn’t really be more opposite. Positive vibes…

The white , triangle and the original clone only og kush are sisters , the rest are s1s or crosses at least that’s what I have always been told.

I agree with @stanknugzz77 on the Triangle Kush. I have the Triangle Kush and I don’t get much if any sweet from her. She’s like a multilayered skunky sour chemical smell. I get Lemon/pine/fuel/acetone/rubber…, but no fruit or cereal that I can pick up

I’ve not had the Irene nor the ghost, that I’m aware of, to know anything on those. The Hollywood is supposedly known for the lime/marshmallow flavor but I haven’t flowered that one out yet. Maybe it’s coming from some of those?
